If you look at the history, it ONLY ON VERY RARE occasion had the Indian COAS has met any US Foreign Office because an elected government is respected in India, and the Indian COAS doesn't dare to bypass an elected government.

As far as DG ISI is concerned, there is NO TUSSLE between COAS and IK. This is all fake and made up. And I am very disappointed that intelligent people keep falling for the same fake media BS over and over again.

I dont agree, its not just one man. IK is confident because he is being backed by every one. In the past US has used Civil-Military tussle to get things done by probing different people. Now they are frustrated, because every one is telling them the same thing, "Absolutely not".

Its the entire state behind one man, civil-military leadership is on same page. We want good relations with US, "broad based" and not Afghanistan specific but not at the cost of National interest, the sooner US realises it the better it is.
