Imran Khan: Islamic welfare state a must

its an old video from about 9 months ago, but IK often reiterates the position of an Islamic welfare model as the only way. in second half of the video (after 1 min. mark) he expresses a bold opinion. says that Pakistan was created for the sole purpose of an Islamic welfare state to be established, otherwise it amounts to abandoning of hindostani muslims if we adopt the same system as they have.

i'm inclined to agree. we've all heard in Quaid's voice that Pakistan was to be based purely on principles of "Islamic socialism, not other 'isms'." and no national party besides PTI (and maybe JI) have this as their main tenets of governance. we've seen the others in power come and go, all have perpetuated zulm against this qaum. time to wake up

This Imran Khan is resembling more and more like a burger version of PMLN. SOmeone tell this stupid fella that the islamic welfare state they envision is neither sustainable nor remotely possible because it relies on easy source of massive wealth which is only possible by two means.

1. Invade, loot and plunder - the so called jihad.
2. Discover huge reserves of oil

Pakistan is in no position for either. May be it will be a much better idea to envision ourselves as an industrially mighty state like USA, Japan or Germany!

the so called jihad with foreign elements in Pakistan will end if we withdraw from amreeka's war. that cancer is removed when they can no longer brainwash the people into thinking PA is acting as mercenaries for the US.

as for resources, there are plenty here. you can look up the statistics of estimated reserves in mineral, coal, gold and iron ore etc. deposits. conservatively, it numbers well into the hundreds of billions. we just can't extract it because of corrupt leaders and the chaos they've created all over.

why do some think that industrialization and an islamic system of governance are mutually exclusive? the economic policy, so long as it benefits the people not deprive them, can very much include rapid industrialization and growth in manufacturing. but this can only be done when you have a just system, free from exploitation and corruption, which is best achieved with the system proposed by Imran.

Moreover, my impression of patriotism is not licking Saudi Arabians feet, which Zia did to the max. Thanks to him, Pakistan got Wahhabi teaching.

Musharraf was just trying to eradicate what Zia started. Musharraf had to join WOT because it was the only way Pakistan would be safe from a US invasion.
Also, If The people of KPK think Pakistan Army is agrgressor when they send artillery strikes, jet fire, Helis, then I wonder what they think when TTP blows their villages and houses up? Is this Pashtun nationalism? Pashtun > Pakistan?
