Imran Khan: If elected, we’ll create an Islamic welfare state

My only concern over IK speech in karachi is when he said "They will introduce E-System for tax to stop corruption"

my question is

what are we gonna do with all the men power we have already in our system? we cant afford to make more ppl jobless since E-System wont be requiring all the man power we have already for the tax collecting.

People your input!

well, with funding for education, these people can re train or something else, instead of being a leach to society.
The Pakistani bureaucracy needs to be put on a diet, I personally think more than 50% of the people need to laid off and everything needs to be computerized.

Less bureaucrat, less red tape, and less corruption.

He shouldnt allow women to run around wearing normal clothes. He should make them wear TENTS! -er I mean burkas

The elite, most educated and youth will then try to leave the country (unfortunately). You must not try to interfere in the personal matters of anyone... After 13 years of preaching 313 believers fought with the non-Muslims (Badr). The point I'm trying to make is that don't do anything stupid Imran... Decades of hard work will give some Islamic results... Don't hurry!

N.B. Corruption and Development has got nothing to do with what I said above...

Actually, he was asked by students of IBA, Karachi about the same issue? And Imran clearly replied that PTI does not have and will not have any objection on women's clothes...

........................

Pakistan is strategically located. Rich in Natural resources of all kinds, from Uranium to Copper. Shale gas to Coal. Large population. Self-Sufficient in Agriculture. Powerful and disciplined Military. Part of an elite group of nations that can mine and enrich Uranium and build and deliver the A-bomb. Large Labor class, so no shortage of workers for factories or farms. Large coast line for trade to outside world. Fairly educated youth. Emerging enterprises. Large Military manufacturing ability.

Who says Pakistan cannot secure a place on the world stage?

All of those points that you mention have been true for the last 30 years, even more perhaps.

The past record hints that Pakistan has systemic problems that have prevented it from securing its place on the world stage so far, and are likely to prevent it still for another quarter century at least, even if a radical change is implemented today.

Absolutely
However someone needs to take this baton on and move in the right direction. Pakistan needs to rethink how it is going to go forward and needs to start from the beginning. Just some lip gloss and spit polish is not going to achieve much. Need to start from the basics and move on from there.

Correct words, but, at risk of drawing you ire with another one-liner, "who will bell the cat"?

I am quite skeptical that IK/PTI is the team that will take this baton forward, despite the recent hysteria. The Army knows that things are simply too messy for it to take over and get saddled with the blame. The established politicians are still making merry as usual.

Forgive my crudity Sir, but I see the same old wh-0res in different lipsticks still for the foreseeable future.

You are again being low on will and disheartened.

The problem here is before he hasn't even stepped-in as an officially elected government Party, here you have passed you verdict that IK-his team would be a failure, cannot deliver blah blah, that is an unfair analysis more like najam sethi revisited.

As someone said even if his team delivers 20%, consider it delivered. Please don't blame Army for the mess you are being hysterical with Pak Army again. Listen to what he says Implementing of Law-Systems, Step 1 where the law-systems are in place this is the first step.

I don't know how someone can assume and pass a verdict without even testing-trials, so pmln/q-ppp/mqm did not delivered after brief musical chairs and you call IK-Team a failure you being skeptical remember Mahathir Mohammad was also not tested-tried when he came in power look the way he changed Malaysia ruled 22 Years, you have example of S. Korea, Singapore as well, be positive.

Firstly, I am merely an outsider looking at evidence as impartially as I can.

Secondly, I am perfectly happy to wait and see my verdicts be proven wrong. Time will tell.

What evidence, you do not have any evidence until PTI is federally elected Party in power and fail to deliver on the basic level as we see it today or in past. Therefore you do not have any evidence as of now remotely to suggest or pass any verdict.

Yes we shall wait and see the outcome and the delivery by PTI if ever they are elected representatives, like I said 20% of delivery would be considered a huge step forward if common man is able to have roti-kapra-makan-naukari IK-Team delivered.

Pakistan's past record speaks volumes: Here we have yet another Messiah being built up to keep the circus going as before.
