Imran Khan - Great Leader of Pakistan

IK the man with the Vision to change the black system in pakistan from top to bottom the only problem with him that he is 2 honest
we need ppl like ALtaf bahi Zardari bahi n so on we already have best leaders in the business in places
we don't need a man with to much honesty go learn some hypocrisy backstabbing lying at it's best then we might consider you as a ture pakistani n also a very nice politician work on these things as soon as u can lolzzz nothing better can happen for the ppl of pakistan unless they want something good for them self period

Where is the vision and more importantly how has he worked to gain support for his vision?

If we say that people are not ready for Imran because he is too good then that is not accurate, people do respond to leadership if it is appealing to them or of high quality.
Honesty is one aspect but not the whole criteria of a popular leader.

It is not that Imran is worse than current leaders, certainly not.
However please be realistic, current leadership is here because it belongs to the strongest political party of Pakistan, it has a launch platform which guarantees tremendous political leverage.
Imran did not join any party, he decided to forge his own political destiny independent of any major player.
He cannot expect to see success overnight and has to work much harder and be very good at political alliances and compromises keeping in mind the bigger picture.

Imran has not been very skillful in politics, if he is willing to talk to Taliban then why is he unwilling to talk to the political entities of Pakistan?
Whatever their cause the Taliban are butchering innocents, yet Imran wants to understand the root cause and address it...ok fair enough Imran Sb, however why do you not apply such logic to your political decisions when dealing with Government and the political entities.
He seeks direct confrontation on a personal level with all the political entities and government, this ensures that he is seen as more tolerant of the Taliban than the democratic forces.
This also ensures that he and his party has minimum leverage in Pakistan.

Change cannot happen overnight...
Why boycott the elections and then whine about the policies that are formulated...at least he should have sat in the assembly so that his cries of foul play were heard where it matters during the policy making.
On one hand not only would he have made a difference in some form but also he would have benefited from the briefings and updates given to parliament. It may have shaped a more mature Imran who was aware of what is going on based on first hand information.

His hard hardheadedness on supporting the government in any way and utter flexibility when dealing with militants is something counterproductive and barring the growth/popularity of his party which really is a one man party till now...in the end PTI will evaporate with Imran...that is his legacy till now.

We cannot just expect to see people rally to someone because he is too honest...it is one aspect which is very important no doubt but has to be complemented by leadership skills, skills which should have by now manifested in some form and won over major public support for Imran...sadly this is not the case.
Imran needs to learn his lesson, people were willing to support him and time was ideal in the 2007 elections, yet he lost the plot completely and chose to boycott.

Most of our nation now hates Mullahs and retards like Hameed Gul, yet he kept company with them...so please do not go on about being too honest.
Imran damaged his reputation tremendously due to certain steps he could have avoided and that is a fact.

I do not doubt his honesty, however he has not yet rallied any mass support and that is the first thing that a great leader has to achieve...one cannot be called a great leader without inspiring many followers.

I hope and pray that he turns it around and appeals to the masses via a balanced and pragmatic approach, i always liked Imran but his political run has been disappointing at best.

Currently he is not even a leader with a noticeable following.

IK's TI party has not been able to win a single by-election contrary to what we have been led to believe by the chairman of TI himself. he shd now 'review' the performance of his party and 'cut his losses' - he is a 'non-entity' in the 'cut-throat' game of politics.

if he wants to do any service to our country, he shd continue his campaign to build hospitals for the poor of this country (he will be remembered long after he is gone) and secondly, he shd volunteer to become chairman of the PCB and sort out the problems of pakistan cricket before this game erodes like hockey and squash.

He could be leader of ruling party if he would have compromised his principles, he is most popular leader and his graph is increasing rapidly .In next election you will see the difference.

I think he is playing his cards wisely, you know corrupt mafia has very deep roots and it is long term and continues process to root out corrupt political parties , Quaid e Azam also developed Muslim from grass root level fuedel lords then take over muslim league and from Ayub Khan onward miltery dictators currupted all over national vital institutions.

Imran Khan need a long term plan and support of financially strong lobbies and expatriates .He has vission , determination and courage to lead nation.

IK vision is very simple to understand if u want to understand bring a change for a people interests of the country to get rid of the corrupt mafia.. rule of law should be equal to every1 in the country. This clearly shows that only a person with a clear agenda of change like IK is the need of the hour for the survival of the country.

How can u say he is not a leader when he haven't even get a chance to lead the country... U can have opinionon everyone is entitled to their opinionon but being judgmental about everything is very absurd.. i wish all the haters of IK become voter of PTI so we can see the change in pakistan :pakistan:

.
I have only one thing to say.

If Imran is a great leader of Pakistan than Pakistan is surely lacking in human resources.

.
Well I don't know that why most of 'Highly respected' members (Like think tank etc) of this forum oppose Imran Khan.I know he is not Mau ze tang (spell?) but he is the best politician around. He is a ray of hope among the youth.O.K no Imran Khan but then what?? Keep voting PPP ,PML-N and MQM??? And then any general will take over..then again PPP or PML-N ....then again any general will take over and the circle continues:hitwall::hitwall:...For G-D sake,We need a change.

I worked for three years as a PTI activist in Rawalpindi District. Today, I'm disenchanted because of the policies that he advocates and the stances that he has taken. As of now, I'm partyless

I had similar feelings as you have the moment he opposed Sawat Opertion but a leader is not somebody who thinks what followers think, he thinks what his qualities make him conclude. Today PA is also of the same thought as Imran Khan was at the time of Sawat Operation. I have no doubt that he is capable person and somebody worth a chance. He might not be perfect but he has answers to most of the questions others don't.

Also people who find flawless personalities end up being alone. (Hazrat Ali). Have faith in Allah and that he will give Pakistan a leadership which it deserves. My country is not born to be a scum country.. and Inshallah Allah will take it to the glory it deserves. We have many right things combining together and all the worst things combining together.. Have hope, we will get out of this terrible period of our history with pride of being successful.
