Imran Khan faces wrath of protesting parents as he arrives at APS

The parents should have patience as Islam stresses upon having patience to the Muslims at every hardships. Secondly The parents should not lose their five senses even if they are in deep sorrows, after all we are Muslims and we should know that everything that has came in this universe has to go some day as it is written in Quran also! So we people should know that IK got married weeks ago the incident and had planned to visit the APS school the day COAS Raheel had to go, so he had to postponed his visit. The thing what i am saying is that parents are not patient! May Allah grant patience to those parents whose children were martyred in the incident!

Parents of children martyred in the Peshawar attack protested against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Thursday as he arrived at the Army Public School, Express News reported.

The PTI chief, who was accompanied by his wife Reham Khan, was forced to turnaround as mournful parents, overcome by grief and anger, refused to let him inside the premises of the school.

However, according to Express News, Imran managed to enter the school through a separate entrance.

Imran was earlier advised to postpone his visit to the army-run school as the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif had to visit the school the same day.

“You were busy getting married without doing anything about my child who died less than a month ago,” said a weeping mother, outside the school, while another parent said the PTI chief had deserted them when they needed him the most.

Urging the PTI chief not to politicise the Peshawar attack, a protester said, “We do not need anyone, whether it’s Imran Khan or Nawaz Sharif.”

“Imran came after one month to visit the school because he was busy with his wedding,” he added angrily, claiming Imran should be ashamed of himself.

Further, Imran was criticised for not doing anything despite being elected as a member of national assembly from the province.

Meanwhile, the PTI has announced that their provincial information minister will shortly hold a press conference to “expose those behind today’s incident.”

Grabbing the opportunity to lash out at PTI chairman Imran Khan, Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid said what Imran had to face today was reminiscent of his style of politics against the PML-N.

“The nation chanted ‘Go Imran Go,’ today because Imran introduced them to these chants,” he said. He added that the chants against the PML-N made no difference to them, but they should matter to Imran since they are coming from mournful parents who have lost their children.

I even dont ask IK to go for dharna until and unless the issues of our country resolves and it would be a stupid idea of IK for starting dharna at 18th

It's something that struck me too - the timing. It's such incredible bad timing to decide to plan your marriage & work on it when just a few days have passed since this most tragic of incidents. Especially for someone like Imran Khan who is busy telling others that they must be ready for many sacrifices in the struggle for Naya Pakistan. He couldn't wait?

expecting is one things , only 20 days before we have a horrible incident ... and if IK gets married what is the big deal ? did you see on new years night ? everyone was enjoying party etc ... so a leader is to blame what about common people ?? my own university announce a dance party , on the second day of the Peshawar massacre .. ..

Its high time PTI and Imran does some soul searching whether or not it was politicly motivated, fact is it should have not happened. Now that it has Imran will have to sort it out even if it means going to their homes clarifying his position. It will only make him a bigger person.

And please dont start dharna on 18th. Its not going to help. You have street power but not enough to throw Nawaz government by force. Moreover at this juncture, army too will not be happy as they want to concentrate solely on TTP with the entire nation backing them. It will be a political blunder to go against the tide.

Imran already visit . He did that when it happened also today.

If we genuinely believe ministers and na speaker have stolen votes we shouldn't protest. Attacks will keep happening in this long war. Does it mean we have to accept every corruption murder and rigging?

I don't know why parents are complaining about IK where as if some one really has to be blamed than it has to be COAS since PA is the one which has brought us to this mess by supporting their assets before 9-11 and not differentiating between good and bad Talibans until now. I believe Raheel knows it as well that's why we are seeing him more active and resilient.

As far as his marriage is concerned, it should be hardly an issue since it was a low key affair and the only party who was celebrating was Pakistani media. Heck even Imran's sisters didn't attended the nikkah because of their personnel reasons so all those who are criticising him over his marriage should get over it.
