He has been touched by the numerous offers to pay for his care made by friends and well-wishers and has asked that anyone wishing to do so make a contribution to the care of the poor cancer patients at Shaukat Khanum instead.

Indeed he is... and guess what the donations to Peshawar SKMCH sky rocketed since yesterday.
His total bill for these 2-weeks is Rs. 153000/- which has been handed over to IK this evening. He will pay the bill tomorrow before leaving the Hospital.

Agreed... he must be provided some space. The guy who tried to comb his hair is IK's bodyguard (an Army official) who is on his head since day one.
wrong perception of Democracy. Democracy is a system where if Majority is evil, then head will be evil. And if Majority is saint then head will be same. Also, the system is already established in Pakistan is complete and no new person can enter unless it become part of it. And this is universal fact that if you are part of same system than you can never "Change" it.

Imran Khan Goes Home

We are pleased to announce that this morning, Mr. Imran Khan was discharged home from Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre. Imran walked from his room on the third floor of the Hospital to the exit on the ground floor, unaided (see video). As previously explained, Imran will continue to receive regular physiotherapy and will need to wear a spinal support for some weeks to come. Imran will gradually increase physical activity over the next few weeks with a return to his full functional capacity expected in approximately six to eight weeks.
While leaving, Imran thanked all his friends, well-wishers and the millions of individuals all over the world who had offered their sympathy, prayers and support throughout his illness.
The entire staff of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre wishes Imran a speedy recovery and all the best for the future.

Whats wrong with paying the bill?
As far as I know he never claimed that he owned the hospital. The hospital was funded largely by the people and if they have to pay then why not him.
One simple question. The hospital is basically for the treatment of cancer patients and not for the kind of injuries he received. Than why he stayed there and did not went to some hospital that is specialized for the kind of treatment he required.
