Imran Khan Approves Interim Province Status For Gilgit-Baltistan

Move chitral to GB province.
Move DI Khan with newly formed saraiki province (junubi punjab).
Move KP bordering pashtoons districts from Baluchistan to KP.

And Leave Baluchistan fate in the hands of fragile Balochs who have tendency of separatism?
Pashtuun Population of Baluchistan is a Big Stabalizing factor for Baluchistan firstly being pro federation and making it an ethnically Diverse Region instead of an Ethnic Paradise that BLA type always dream of.
Even anti-Pashtuun Baloch Groups like BNP Never speak against Pakistan Balochi Pashtuuns they only speak against Afghani Illegals in these Areas.

Good point. Also, as per latest census results, Pashtoon and Balochis are in same proportion in Balochistan now. But all Balochis are not anti-state. Maybe some 3-4%.

Don't really care about your re-revised history. Until now Pakistan has never protested on GB being included as a part of Jammu Kashmir in UN, as it thought it would help it garner more votes in a plebiscite.

So yes GB officially recognized as part of Jammu and Kashmir by the entire world.
Let me put it in simple words.
Simple Fact.
1> People of Northern Area don't consider them Part of Kashmir nor they ever were in any way
2> People of Northern Area Demand Merger with Pakistan.

So UN and No UN will make the difference.

I lived in multan for 4 years... spent another 1 in Bahawalpur...

Multan if anything is today a very multicultural city.. with Baloch,Pakhtuns,Serikies,Panjabis & urdu speakers aswell as people from Haryana etc...

Why? Because it is a historic city .. one of the oldest living cities in the world.. and has been ruled by several dynasties.

The Pakhtuns & settled here from as far as Balochistan.

Than you have the Baloch living a stone throw away... who came and settled .. the Khetrans of Fort Monroe are a good example of assimilation .. they having settled on both sides southern Panjab & Balochistan border speak their own language called Khetrani influenced with seriki.. aswell as Balochi.

The Panjabis arent native but settlers .. some settling in Multan since centuries because how far is a city like Okara from multan? Lol..
And because a large number of migrants came from indian panjab (including haryana/mewat)...

And so did Urdu Speakers from diverse communities like Delhiwalas, Bohras etc..

If anything Bahawalpur is a true Seriki city.. the old capital of the powerful Bahawalpur state.. which neighbored Sindhi Mir States (all of whom speak a seriki+sindhi language— yet hold Sindhi customs, traditions and general way of life).
There is no city which has only one ethnicity or linguistic group and that's the beauty of Pakistan and I have experienced that there is sizeable community of Punjabi speakers in every city of Punjab (I visited a lot a cities multiple times). I even met Punjabi speaking people in US who hail from cities in Sindh like Hyderabad etc. So they have a huge a population and thus that simply makes them the largest group, second are the Pashtoons, there are more than 2 million Pashtoons in Karachi alone and then KPK, parts of Baluchistan and even in Punjab.

Will it not have implications on kashmir issue?
If someone make me understand plz.

Kashmir issue is not bigger than the rights of people living there. Should we keep them deprived just because we have to highlight an issue?

Besides Gilgit Baltistan has nothing to do with Kashmir Issue.
As per our claims only Azad Kashmir is, india can keep claiming whatever they wish.

It has major implication on Pakistan's Kashmir stand.

Pakistan's stand has always been that entire state of Jammu & Kashmir is a disputed territory between India and Pakistan, pending a final settlement.

Now if Pakistan converts a part of this so called disputed territory into one of the provinces of Pakistan i.e an integral part of Pakistan, Pakistan's stand on rest of J&K being a disputed territory falls through.

So as soon as GB becomes a part of Pakistan then Pakistan does not have leg to stand on and claim that Jammu and Kashmir is still a disputed territory.

That's what you think mate. Pakistan has always kept Gilgit and Baltistan aside from the Kashmir issue.
Azad Kashmir is the only disputed territory, simple as that...

UN Or No UN. Once Imran khan convince of something he will go to extend of it to make it happen

Don't worry, Kashmiris have made enough case for their liberation. GB deserves to be treated better and Pakistan is doing it for the betterment of same Kashmiris you love to hate.

Can someone tell what benefit people of GB will get with this "Interim Province" status? @bananarepublic do you have any idea or any other native who is aware of polity of GB?

dhakan GB is not part of Kashmir LOL

Too many "Muslims" in single paragraph. Muslim desires, muslim partition, muslim state, muslim distrust.

Believe me, No body cares man, especially since Muslim are not indigenous to this land

Muslim is a faith, the Kashmiris are not aliens who landed here

They are the people of Kashmir and as per partition want to seperate from hindus who they hate

They dont want black ganga plain dwellers infecting their land and homes

It does make a difference, in 70 years. Pakistan has not once objected to GB being included as part of princely state of Jammu and Kashmir. As it thought, it would get more votes, if GB was included jn a plebescite.
Now after 70 years, you simply can not state, rest of the state of jammu and kashmir is disputed but Gilgit baltistan has now become a part of Pakistan.

Either all of it is disputed or none of it is.

Do you know what "Interim" means ?

Just like Sino-Pak Boundary agreement of 1963, this arrangement will be interim pending final solution

Liberation, I did not know that was an option. As per Pakistan oficially stated policy, the only option, Kahmris have is Pakistan or India.

And if you think Kashmiris or even Pakistanis have made enough of case, then why is no body doing anything for you?
