We all got a lot sentimental on this....
You all know my hatred towards afghans or Afghans refugees in general. My views are well known at this forum..
But first this is not going to happen.
Imran is by far the person who actually know and understand the mentality and narrative of refugees and Afghans. And he wants to fight their narrative with another narrative.
He also said that he meant it only for karachi and no where else.
He should now write his speeches too as he is pm now not an ordinary politician. Because there are many difficult disicions he has to make, which would get a negative public sentiment, but he has to do them nonetheless.
Media and public are not ready to forgive their single mistake.
Media themselves don't understand what they should do. Whole order of things has been changed. The old masters have changed yet they are paying still and the new masters are not even paying and doing austerity etc.
The whole media right now Is, twisting every argument, all it is based on is : ap ne to yeah kaha tha, aur ap ne to wo kaha tha.

Geo news in talat program, even took a psychiatrist on his show, to discuss how public and sherif family should suppress their grief.
And how they should not be jailed to overcome their grief.

But I also know a lot of bangladeshi's who after 71 came to karachi or didn't want to go back as they are Pakistanis. They long demand nationality. We treat them really bad for ages and we have to accept their demand.

Irony is that all the people above who have just abused imram for this statement, all of them would apply in a jiffy, if given English, Eurpeon or USA visa.
All the army generals I know and I know quite a lot, though I am young, I have many friends who are retired generals, colonel and bargadiers due to our common gardening clubs activities. All their children study, live abroad and hold foreign nationality. I have yet to see any army personnel who hasn't have any family member abroad. So is the case with politicians or general public.
I would never be in favour of giving afghans our nationality but this is also true that
We are the most double standard nation on earth there ever was.
We have to remove our ego and emotions while thinking. We are too much emotional.. Specially the people of subcontinent.
