Imran hails government ‘sincere efforts’ for peace talks

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan commending the “sincere efforts” of the prime minister and the interior minister said that both the leaders stood firm against the lobby who is criticizing negotiations with the Taliban.

Talking to mediamen outside his residence following his meeting with the prime minister, Imran Khan said the government has decided to hold strategic dialogue with the Taliban.

The government has found a way to hold strategic dialogue with the militants, he said.

The militants groups are divided due to the government’s policy of negotiation with the Taliban for restoration of peace in the country, he added.

Imran Khan said that if some elements wanted to continue fight with the state then Pakistan has one of the most powerful army in the world.

Appreciating the role of the prime minister Nawaz Sharif and interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, the PTI chief said that both the leaders stood firm against the lobby who is criticizing peace negotiation and wants military operation.

If Waziristan is bombarded then what would happen to peace-loving people, he questioned.

Khan said the matter of polio workers’ security would also be discussed during talks with the Taliban.

We as civilians are content with a materialistic life style and don't pay enough respect to those who are willing to sacrifice there lives for Pakistan. The masses are more concerned with waving a flag of a corrupt person instead of appreciation and honoring soldiers like Sephai Maqbool who gave up their own sanity to protect the integrity of Pakistan.

Now the youth in this country are willing to malign the Army all on the basis of protecting the chairs of these arrogant fools. Democracy has crippled Pakistan and are image at the international realm is tarnished because incompetency and stupidity is rampant. However the youth will soon realize their mistake and then the Green Revolution will come forward.

Imran Khan painted a picture that he was different and was concerned in changing Pakistan. However, his government in KPK has shown that he is more interested in political point scoring and reacts to certain event like a typical greedy politician. He should be charged with treason by disclosing confidential information which was spoken between the the military establishment and the civilian government in respect to the success of an operation in NW.

Most of his voters are disappointed and feel betrayed for his inert policies. He whined about the collateral damage of drone strikes, which to be honest is a fair assessment that it leads to resentment, but then employs individuals in his party like SMQ who did squat when acting in the designated role of a Foreign Minister of Pakistan. Imran Khan talks about how the Captain controls his team to victory, yet his party is full of feudal lords and wealthy elites, who have their own agenda and interests in making money. Do you know why Imran Khan wants peace talk? The reason is simple he is too gutless in fighting these animals known as the TTP, because he is scared of antagonizing them and having their aggression pushed towards him and his party....selfish indeed. If he loves peace talks so much, then be a man and walk to NW and have a dialogue with the TTP.....oops I forgot they will cut his head with a 4 inch knife for not having a bead. Henceforth, he is willing to play sheep and dine with Ganja like a true conniving politician. regardless, it is the PML(N) that has taken a more balanced approach to the talks compared to the simplistic and confused rhetoric given out by the PTI in the past. It has taken the military on board, and involved the KP government to ensure that the most effected people are kept in the loop.

All that you have stated is everything politicians are guilty of in EVERY democracy in the world. you make compromises to accomplish your own goals. In that case IK is finally becoming a true politician. Every other place where there has not been democracy, there has been chaos. Pol Pot in Cambodia.. millions of deaths.. every tin pot dictator in the middle east.. death and chaos. Places where sham democracy has been planted by dictators has led to chaos as well.. be it Egypt.. Pakistan or Burma.

The recent few months has frustrated and annoyed me, because every bloody politician has no solution and would rather dance to the tune of the TTP. Did they forget that the TTP is being financed and trained by our arch enemies across the border. This is not a question of Shariah becoming implemented in Pakistan, but simply the disarmament of are nuclear weapons. To achieve such a scenario all proactive patriotic institutions must be weakened. TTP are not concerned with Islamabad since they want the whole of Pakistan which was gloriously given to us by Allah, through the generous efforts of Quaid e-Azam.

We have these fools on the ropes, where are boys were strategically bombing them back to the stone age.However Imran Khan and the rest of the civilian puppets want to talk about peace, giving the enemy enough time to regroup and counterattack. How can you negotiate with a leader who was openly selling women's dignity in Swat to the highest bidder. Did the troops who participated in the most daring attack of the 21st century by parachuting and focusing a four pronged attack die for nothing in Swat. As peace talks go on the TTP will slaughter pro-Pakistani tribesman in the cover of darkness. But Imran Khan does not understand, because he must have his peace talks and play the passive card. The TTP must be laughing in their sleep because no crime will go unpunished...as the gun does the talking and the people start silencing in fear. This of course will never happen because we are a blessed nation and the Army will do its duty as always by performing exemplary in action, by putting a bullet through a TTP.

What is the difference between Imran Khan and the Ganja brothers, because the only froth which came from his mouth during the election campaign was his promise of change and morality. Those who compromise on their principles are doom to fair, because they have no honor left in there body. Yes he has become a true politician, but the dreams which he sold to millions of Pakistan was in reality a hoax and its truly disgusting to see how many fell for his trap.

China has no democracy, yet its country has flourished quite magnificently surpassing most Western nations. Cuba has no democracy, but its healthcare system is regarded as one of the best in the world. Vietnam is a communist state and its economic growth is way ahead of Pakistan. Democracy was the sole reason why South America went through a volatile period, because western governments were holding the strings behind puppet regimes. Cambodia was a tragic event, however it only occurred because of the support the Chinese were willing to give and the inaction of those in the UN to intervene.

My point is a country like Pakistan is not designed for democracy because we have a feudal culture and unless they are not eliminated then progress will never come forward.
