No need for an apology, especially as the Mukti Bahini were responsible for killing between 500,000-1 million Biharis:

Actually Mukti Bahini and Bengal Regiment personnel raped the Bihari and west Pakistani women killed about 800,000/ to 1,000,000/ innocent Biharis and West Pakistanis in East Pakistan in 1971. After the 16th of December 1971 Bangladeshis showed the dead bodies and graves of these innocent Biharis and Pakistanis as Bengali people killed by the Pakistan army.

Pakistan feels the pain of 1971 everyday, but in the end you got what you want. Now let's move past this and live as brothers. I feel the same way. Today Pakistanis feel no hatred for Bangladeshis but certainly we don't want to go back to the past.

As for Imran, his views clearly shows his political immaturity. Though i support him but a politician always avoids giving views on a sensitive issue. This is still a sensitive issue and Imran is noone to decide and give his opinion on behalf of Pakistanis. He holds no political position to demand this. I am sure he didn't realize that he could offend a lot of people by saying this. His interview though was not given coverage but still it caused reaction from readers. I have seen letters to editor where people have complained about him rightly or wrongly. A bad political move by Imran!

Most Bangladeshis that do not support the Awami League are not swayed by its anti-Pakistan propaganda, & view Pakistanis as their brothers. I am grateful to these people for their love towards Pakistan & Pakistanis. Even though the scars (more like fresh wounds) Pakistanis & Bangladeshis have are going to stay, we can move along as brothers. 1971 was a painful part of history, & it was very difficult for Pakistan to move on or to even survive after that. MashAllah we did, & we are stronger than ever. We have made so much progress since 1947. I am so proud of everything Pakistan stands for, I can't explain it in words. May Allah bless both Pakistan and Bangladesh. Ameen!

The Biharis today are well settled in Bangladesh today. There are over 1 million Bengalis in Karachi alone. Pakistan DID let a Biharis in HUGE NUMBERS into Karachi btw right after 1971, which was the reason why there were ethnic riots between Sindhis, Punjabis & all other ethnicities against Biharis & other Muhajirs, which eventually resulted in the formation of the MQM in the 1980's. I am a Bihari myself, so I know all this to be true. So you're wrong on many levels. And as I said, the Biharis in Bangladesh today have settled well in Bangladesh today, no point calling them back as they are Bangladeshi citizens.

Read about the Biharis that lived in UN camps for decades. Bangladesh didn't want them, they didn't want Bangladesh and Pakistan didn't let them in.

Bangladesh only allowed them citizenship after decades of living in those camps. Many would still want to come to Pakistan but they were betrayed.

A lot of Biharis lived in UN camps. However, it wasn't possible to call all the Biharis from Bangladesh, Pakistan did let a lot of Biharis from Bangladesh settle in Karachi. My extended family is an example of that. Which is what triggered the ethnic clashes in Karachi, & the eventual formation of the MQM.

Are you doubting the words of Sarmila Bose, an Indian author from Calcutta who has done extensive research into the events of 1971, who has provided impartial & conclusive evidence to prove you wrong? Who are you to claim, with your lack of adequate knowledge & refutations to even comment on her? You're clearly filled with your Hindutva arguments/propaganda, & you couldn't even respond on other issues in India, saying I had no right to comment on them as I was not Indian. Yet, you are so keen to comment on Pakistani issues, & of course, you will disappear again on the basis of the lack of evidence to support your claims.
