What's new

Imran agrees to work with Sharif on 'major issues'.

For all the PTI+ , PTI- , PML+, PML-.. their respective supporters have ignored something big here.
For the first time in history, two rival parties are supporting the democratic process and literally pouring cement into the country's foundations.

sorry it has already happened between PMLN and PPP previously

No one can deny that the biggest challenge faced by the nation of Pakistan today is terrorism. General Kayani, talking about terrorism said: “Considering this war against terrorism as the war of the armed forces alone can lead to chaos and disarray that we cannot afford.”He said the fact of the matter was that today it was Pakistan and its valiant people who were a target of this war and were suffering tremendously. “I would like to ask all those who raise such questions that if a small faction wants to enforce its distorted ideology over the entire nation by taking up arms and for this purpose defies the Constitution of Pakistan and the democratic process and considers all forms of bloodshed justified, then does the fight against this enemy of the state constitute someone else’s war?”

It is encouraging to see the newly elected leaders realize the importance of this issue that has plagued the region for a very long time. Terrorism can only be eliminated completely if our nations work together to restore peace for the people of the region.
