Impressed with Mohammed Abbas

that joke is getting old, half of India eat beef.
They eat Buff means water buffalo not Cows beef.

And that too eaten by South Indians who are genetically not much powerful.

Definitely M. Abbas was a great find. Looking at his domestic figures though I believe firmly he should stick to just Test Cricket and not One Days and T-20's (at least until his performance improves in those matches at the domestic level).

Our board has a very bad problem of not being able to differentiate between Tests, ODI's and T-20's and then ruining the player's careers. Just because a player is great at Tests does not mean he is good at ODI's (and vice versa). Yes some can adapt to all formats, are but a lot can't. And for those that can't should not be tried then at other formats because it will affect their regular performances as well.

The best example of this I can give are the failed careers of Mohammad Sami and Danish Kaneria. If you go through their careers you will see how Sami blew everyone away when he first started playing limited overs cricket and the same with Danish Kaneria who first started with Tests. And then Sami was consistently tried in Tests even though he was never that great in first class cricket to the point where his ODI performances started to suck as well. And the exact reverse happened with Danish Kaneria. Everyone is different and has to be assessed according to their skill level, let's hope M. Abbas stays for a LONG time.

you are so right, just check his bowling on youTube and watching him bowl you would think its Mohammad Asif bowling
You guys should also check Mir Hamza on youtube. He hasn't done any special yet in the match but he is nothing short of a Super star of the future if utilized well

I like his line o length, it reminds me of MCGrath of Australia. What a great bowler with brilliant length bowl with seam.
This guy Abbas has bright future, we should continue him in ODIs too.

There are some dedicated test bowlers like Philander of South Africa and Yasir Shah as a spinner. Abbas shouldn't be destroyed by letting him play limited overs cricket especially on flat pitches.

He will be death for batsman in england baters like kholi will be his bunny wickets

A copy if mcgrath similar pace line an DC length

.
Wooo he has just decimated Australian top and middle order. What a bowler! simple action yet so deadly. The way he seam the ball is exceptional.

The best part about this was he did this on a DEAD Abu Dhabi flat wicket, and the first PACE bowler to ever do so, can't wait for the 3 test series against South Africa in South Africa. I know our batsmen are gonna have a tough time there, but can't wait to see M. Abbas bowl on those SA pitches!

Let's hope he doesn't go down the route of other other 'Mohammad A' pace bowlers ... e.g. Asif, Ahmer, etc.

.
He is impressive and I want him in one days as well but its too early to call him best ..If he remain consistence for long time then he would win matches for Pakistan but people said same thing about Hasan ali and he did not perform well after all this praise and hype. Hope he remain in senses after all this praise from legends
