Article 370 is done deal. It is not going to come back.
It was an obstacle in the path of dispute resolution. Now that it's gone and makes one's intentions clear, both parties can now focus on their goals towards their intended targets for the resolution of the dispute.

best solution that avoids war and more Kashmiris dying from artillery shelling is a population transfer of muslims in IOK to Pakistan, including those in jail. as long as the Kashmiris are ok with this.

Sitting in US, you propose to do Maths....Look at your Democrat Govt...I guess they are more adverse to Pakistan than your Trump.

On topic, You say India is in deep shit, PDF Keyboard warriors say the same....unfortunately, people who run the world economics and economies have a different view (including IMF)...so you please continue with your Maths...
My view..peace with India is a Welcome sign...we need them more than what they need us for, at the moment.
they also say that india fudges is numbers up.
this is what the world is really saying but you can feel free to cherry pick abstractions h free & the and create your own euphoric picture, whatever rocks your boat dude, enjoy the 🍒...

it was only from last October, india's situating hasn't improved much over the last 3 months, only worsened.

Finally, sense is dawning on Pakistan Govt. Trade is good for Pakistan in its current economic state.

Look at China and Taiwan trade. Aren’t they about to go to war everyday but have ensured that trade should continue since it benefits both.

don't worry about our economy son, our exports are going through the roof. worry about your double digit negative gdp growth while loosing to China, your side of Kashmir just went from 40% to 38%.

No no no

Under no circumstances should we have any trade with India

This has to be opposed and pressure put on government and political parties that this NEVER occurs

Stop it now

I keep saying this but Pakistan cannot fight domestic terrorists funded by India and sending terrorists to IoK at the same time. IoK is at this point lost case. Time now is for peace between India and Pakistan.

The cost of terror to Pakistan has been proportionally bigger then to India. Kashmiris are traitors anyway who became part of India hoping they will get independence. Let them figure that out on their own.
Lolx Pakistan can not fight it thats why its been reduced to 97%...

Pakistan doesnt have to send fighters to Kashmir they themselves are enough and will not need likes of you to clarify who sends em and who doesnt...

And Kashmiris never became part of india they were occupied.. hypocrisy is occupying Junagadh saying will of people and occupying Kashmir saying will of the king...
Ahh I see, Pakistan wants to start importing to help India.
That’s like a good neighbour.
Lolx Uzbekistan might be better choice

either that or a boot up your arse, glad you were wise not to choose the boot, don't think two boots would fit in since there's already the Chinese boot up in their...

btw, don't get all hot n bothered over it just yet, the government is still "thinking" about it, or textile industry is booming but there are other places we can import cotton from so don't hold your breath, it's just one of those thoughts where you think that "maybe we should throw india a piece of the pie" but then you turn around and go like "naaaaah". :omghaha:

Pakistan may allow cotton import from India through land route as prospects of gradual restoration of bilateral trade ties have brightened after the new ceasefire agreement along the Line of Control (LoC).

According to a local media report that cited sources in the Ministry of Commerce, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood may take a decision on whether to import cotton and yarn from India next week.

The report claimed that the issue of cotton shortfall had been brought to the notice of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan whereas a formal summary will be presented before the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the federal cabinet after a principled decision is taken in this regard. “In-house deliberations have already begun but the final decision would be taken only after seeking the premier’s approval.”

The arrival of seed-cotton into ginneries plunged 35pc to 5.57 million bales as of January 31, 2021, the lowest level witnessed in Pakistan’s history in the last two decades.

Given the situation, this year’s cotton imports may touch the highest levels seen in the country’s recent past, putting an extra burden on current account position. Cotton production was recorded at 8.487 million bales in the same period of last year.

Of the total production, textile mills bought 5.046 million bales while 70,200 bales were picked up by exporters. Currently, only 90 ginning mills are functioning in the country.

Cotton outputs in the country have plunged historic lows mainly due to poor seeds and lack of technology and innovations, threatening the livelihoods of growers and textile sector’s viability.

Pakistan had severed trade ties with India after New Delhi unilaterally annexed Jammu and Kashmir by ending its special status granted under Article 370 of Indian constitution. The trade ties between both the countries can help minimise cost of production and ensure sustained food supplies.

Don’t stop there bring Bollywood films back as well. The Indians must be laughing their heads off and they’ve every right to.

Pakistan's textile industry is booming. It will need raw material. Recalling how India used to import cement when India was growing pre-Modi era.

Now wait for hypernationalist Pakistanis to explain how this is a mastetstroke.. Hehehe... Cotton > Kashmir..

Sure if it means Pakistan don't have to go to IMF every few years. Time to get out of this cycle of of debt relief from IMF, CHINA, Arabs etc It cripple GDP growth and with it comes all sort of problems that will mean every existence of Pakistan as state will be in danger.
