Geez, I remember a time when Star Plus used to air programs in English. Many were good programs and watchable. hehe, my old man wouldnt let us watch TV and so did not get the 'cable connection'. So we used to 'hack the cable' and watch Star Plus all day when dad went to work. Those were good ol' times.
But stopped watching Star Plus once it got contaminated by that eeeekkkktaaa's saas bahu sabhyata sanskar travesty.

There is no Pakistani Channel Allowed In India so in my opinion these Crappy channels must have been Banned Years Ago.

So... a guy wanted his hair to look like a Hindu's... Hritik Roshan? Apparently, Hindu hairstyles are now illegal too right?

And about those kids. First of all, why the heck are they watching drama's? It's not even aimed at their age group! Those parents are the ones to blame, not the kid.

To tell the truth, I wouldn't mind if Indian drama's got banned. But complaining about Bollywood is where it's at.

This is crap. This comes under parental responsibility to shield their children from these Soaps and provide the correct religious indoctrination.

I totally agree this is wrong, because of the social impact of watching these shows with fanaticism, but it shouldn't be done through censorship, people need to wise up on their own.

Have you seen the kind of people who live in these poor neighbourhoods?

Many of them are jahils, who can't even take care of themselves properly, how do you expect them to take care of their kids properly? I think you are being a bit too optimistic here.

There are always going to be good and bad parents out there, but why should a child have to suffer because of the negligence of their parents?

It is the government's responsibility to counter anti-state media, which works to corrupt the minds of our youth.

Their should be a complete ban on all Indian movies and channels.

Strict punishments should be given out to those who break the law, and heavy penalties to those who try pirate movies and shows into the country. These laws should be enforced strictly!

Our values are being compromised here. People are forgetting what it means to be a Pakistani and a Muslim.

Many people ignore the MAJOR effects that the media has on the mentality of the people within a society.

If these undeclared billionaire politicians of Pakistan, actually cared about the nation, they would try and invest money into legitimate media in Pakistan that would adhere to our Islamic values!

As Pakistanis, we should fight these societal evils that have been neglected by the government!
