IMF Loan History of Pakistan

. . .
PLMN was given 5 years but they failed to do any reforms, and left economy in the worst conditions.

Considering that $9 billion in loan repayments will become due soon. much of this cycle will be repeated with the present government as well, no matter what decisions they will end up making. That is just how bad Pakistan's debt trap has become, reforms or no reforms. A sobering realization.

If these f*kers were reading my post for last 10 years, they would have followed some of my suggestions.
*Reducing government overhead should be the top priority of new government. I am glad current governments has allocated 2 billon to introduce technology /EGovernment /automation to reduce government overhead. Asad Umar mentioned about technology/ bigdata in this last interview. Technology will improve process and less human errors. consolidating data from varies DBs so it can be easy to search and investigate things.
*PTI governments also plan to create a wealth fund to reorganize the loss-making 200 state-owned enterprises (SOEs) outside the control of line ministries.
*Local body system will also improve things and management will be much easier.
*Increase TAXNET (it is a slow process and it’s toward right direction. Government should declare financial emergency and form special court to deals with tax evaders instead of offering an special amnesty)
*Smaller DAMS should be build in Sindh and Punjab just like in KPK.

Mansoor Ali is another lifafa Puchiyas.
