Great development. As long as internal stability is maintained, VN is poised to become one of SEA's fast-developing innovative economies.

This will further increase competition to less efficient developing countries such as India, making life even harder for their population dividends, forcing it deeper into debt-based unsustainable growth.

Lol, Isn't your total debt crossed USD 30 trillion dollars mark?

But I admire your efficiency in building ghost cities one after another.

India has no chance against Vietnam. 1000 years occupation have instilled into them Viets a discipline and work ethic similar to those exhibited by the East Asian tigers.

I wish vietnam the best of luck and to not fcuk it up otherwise risk getting another smack down.

Is there a civilization on earth that didn't came to China and banged you up nankin' style?

East Asian tiger like Taiwan?

We really don't need to expose your IQ, you expose yourself:
Talking about debt, india is basically a bankrupt country whose external debt has exceeded its foreign exchange reserves, while China has a good surplus of foreign exchange reserve....Haha.

We know you love the Vietnamese but this car is not indigenous lol. Magna, a candian company provided all the engineering specs for them.in reality the viets are just assembly screws and wrench workers.

CEO was hired by a Vietnamese company, thats the normal thing, bro. In Vietnam, we know about Chinese car Zotye and this care used the Japanese engine and a part technology of japan. Can you confirm for this thing? if yes, so why do you laugh?

I am not surprised. Most developing countries claim indigenous production but in fact it does not go more than assembly work.

It is a start, nonetheless.

About love, well, I am for regional good-neighborliness and development. My eyes are on the high prize, the real existential challenge to China - we know who.

So, this is the reason I have no intention to argue that China needs to negotiate its sovereign entitlements with anybody (I would object it), but, I still believe China has the means to become more lenient to its small neighbors and historical/cultural extensions.

Some small brands may use Japanese engines, such as Mitsubishi, especially at the initial stage. But, most major brands have their own engine technology.

I think nothing is wrong with starting from somewhere.

I see nothing wrong in hiring a foreigner as CEO. I see nothing wrong either in hiring foreign companies to develop cars. You can laugh if you like. Magna or other foreign engineering companies have no business in China?

At the end of the day, made in VN cars running out of assembly line matter. Not idiot comments.

I admire your self confidence and lack of self reflection. Not funny at all: you added China territory conquest attempt into a car discussion. Ok Let’s see if China smartphone industry or other branches as electronics and aircraft survive once western companies stop supplying parts.

Nice way to begin with. It is a process. Vietnam has entered into car manufacturing and and it will go on improving in terms of quality and indigenous component. The bet way to progress is to create internal competition.

Yes of course it’s a process every country should have to go thru. Step by step, learning by doing, studying from others. There is nothing to laugh. Chinese laugh but they forget have sat on bicycles not long ago. I hope we will have more car makers in the future and not only two. Overtaking Thailand car industry is the benchmark.

Let them laugh. Not long time ago, They coppied our 100 cc and 150cc bikes. Today they produces a lots of poor quality cars so inspite of high car production, they are far behind other country in car export. Infact, first car of Vietnam looks quite decent.
