‘I’ll burn her & her car’: Saudi man arrested for threatening women drivers

You need to take your medicine. Urgently.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_alcohol_consumption_per_capita

There are currently 125.000 + Saudi Arabian students in the US and I am yet to read a single report about drunk Saudi Arabian students or other related unfortunate behavior due to intoxication of whatever kind.

Saudi Arabians, whether students, investors, businessmen or tourists show an exemplary behavior usually. Whether in the GCC, Arab world, West, East or elsewhere.

This is the case when you have one of the most deducted, urbanized and wealthy populations in the developing world as well as law abiding.

Relax dude, no need to get all hot headed over this.
And do you seriously think that any Saudi is going to admit on a survey that they drink?

It's not only Saudis tho.
You will find all Arabs at bars in Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, or the west.
It's just a fact of life.

back to the thread, it's nice to see that Saudi is taking a tiny step towards the 19th century.
hopefully they will join the 21sr century soon.

I think Saudis only drink less than Russians.
Back in Canada you would see them sitting on sidewalk patios with a nice cold Beer.

And I think they went full western, why marry when you can go to Europe or Bahrain for a weekend trip, pocket full of cash of course

Pocket full of easy earned cash always does that.

Hard earned. Way too expensive

Nobody cares about your unfounded nonsense blabbering.

KSA is way ahead of your country on most fronts. Education, living standards, infrastructure, literacy, percentage of women with a university degree (60% in KSA), rule and law, crime, number of terrorist incidents etc. This is the reality. Now when the last very few remaining stupid laws (less than 25 year old as well) will be removed, you will have nothing left. A sad day that will be.

BTW it is good that Arabs are drinking. After all we invented alcohol (the word is of Arabic origin) and the first wine was cultivated in our part of the world too. In fact all Saudi Arabians are binge drinking alcohol en masse. All statistics show this after all.

@The Eagle

This is a moronic troll thread with some idiot/teenager barking on the internet about something that he will never do, will be able to do nor is there any support for such kind of moronic comments by anyone. He was arrested too immediately which shows the effectiveness of the system.

Meanwhile in the real world (KSA National Day celebrations in the middle of Riyadh last week):

The ignorant idiots as usual are barking about issues that they have no clue about.

KSA is rapidly transforming for the better and at a very quick pace on all fronts which is what is bothering the enemies of KSA and the Arab nation. They want KSA to remain weak and for a few clerical dinosaurs to prevent progress and hold the nation hostage. MbS does not tolerate such nonsense hence the many groundbreaking changes in the past 2 years and much more is to come.

Let them cry.

Don't care.

That other thread was about an actual incident. This is a troll thread (posted by the Russia Today propaganda trash) of some nobody posting a nonsense post on the internet. Moreover a person that was arrested for his moronic comment that nobody supports.

Too many Kawlis and Ajamis are obsessing about Arabs here. Not good. The barking is limited to the internet for obvious reasons.

No. Anyway what I wrote is the reality. Anyway I don't know what his country of origin is but it is for sure not Canada nor the developed world. So KSA being ahead of his ancestral country is very much likely.

Buddy don't bring Pakistan into this.

My second time request.

Young people everywhere are much like Pakistanis in their way of thinking and face similar problems.

Drinking seems to be a common trend mainly because of exploring the Taboo. Minute part of the society. Not everywhere you have to win a war of words.

Don't bring Pakistan into this.

Thanks

I have lived in Saudi Arabia. Most Saudis do not drink alcohol since most Saudis are religious.

Yes Saudi Arabia is ahead of Pakistan in some indicators but not all my friend. :)

why are you so wound up?

And right, when people think of a modern, technologically advanced society, they think of Saudi

Also, there are many many more Canadians with qualifications working in Saudi, then there are Saudis working in Canada.

I think you meant to say "Most Saudis CLAIM not to drink Alcohol"
Just about every Saudi I have met outside Saudi Arabia LOVED their drink

So half thobe, (kandoura) would be acceptable?

Just an observation, don't kill the messenger

Surely in terms of infrastructure, wealth, law and order and education (KSA's universities are the best ranked in Asia along with Chinese, South Korean, Japanese etc. ones). Once all the moronic laws (not many left) are removed this will only improve. You don't have to worry because it is going to happen. Just like I told idiots here that this 25 year old (moronic) ban on women driving would soon become a thing of the past.

No, as there are many more highly educated Saudi Arabian students in Canada and expats/people that chose to settle than Canadians in KSA.

Besides I doubt that you are from Canada originally.

Of course. Alcohol is an Arabic word and as I told you the first recorded example of alcoholic beverages are from the Arab world. That must be why. I believe whatever some anonymous Indian, Bangladeshi, Pakistani (I think one of those 3 countries are your country of origin) is writing of nonsense on PDF in relation to Saudi Arabia and Saudi Arabians. I think that you have not met a single Saudi Arabian in your life (like most people on PDF) or even visited the country a single time. Hajj and Umrah does not count as you are confined to a tiny (relatively) area of KSA and not allowed to travel outside of it. Even many expats have no real interaction or knowledge about KSA other than their immediate workplace and often they themselves are surrounded by expats. Zero travel across KSA, zero interaction with locals, no fluency in Arabic etc. After 3 months of living such a lifestyle they return as "experts" about KSA yet don't have a clue about the most elementary stuff. Seen such people on PDF already. No need to tell me the rest.

Not questioning your observation. Just wondering why would wearing a "full thobe" be an issue. Never seen anyone wearing half thobe.

You should, as he is obviously full of shit and is stating unfounded and contrary to the reality, claims.
