I believe I have solved the riddle! Why compels BA Chief Iqbal K Bhuyan to act so passive? He is a Gopali jamai babu. He is married to the sister of Omar Faruq, the reigning chief of the mighty Jubo League.IKB himself is from Daudkandi but has married in Gopalganj.

@ Now doubt, he is from Daudkandi but he has married in Thakurgaon.
@ He is out and out a neutral man but firm. He commands a good portion of the whole army.
@ He passed out from Fauzdarhat Cadet College.
@ During BNP's last tenure he was Chief of the General Staff(CGS) next to to the Chief of Staff. Once 1/11 was about to launched by General Moin and his Gong he opposed it straight way. Soon, he was posted to Commandant Staff Collage at Mirpur. Once Awami Leaque came to power he was again given the Command at Savar.
@ During this times a lobbying was going on whom to make Chief of Staff. Probably his father-in-Law is related in Awami Leaque politics and is a renowned doctor. Finally this lobby became successful.
@ Still you cannot say what will happen ? Moreso there is a risk that who knows what Sk Hasina has signed with India secretly ?

His father is law's lobby wont work for the COAS position, i bet he had good connections with GT and his family helped his profile. ........i was right when i called him a chatra league general.

I rechecked.His wife,Tahnuva Yasmin, a house-wife, is indeed a sister of Omar Faruq of Gopalganj. The couple have 3 kids - Ordika,Mashiyad and Ishman. Don't know where this Thakurgaon connection came from. Is it possible Yasmin's parents were stationed there for work?
