The first step is better and more efficient coordination between all Forces and their agencies, that means we need a command and control Center where all Information about terrorism of any art is analyzed and saved in a Database, from this Center we can take than decisions how and where to raid! At this moment such things do not exist in Pakistan, for example, CTD Home Base in Karachi looks like a Bazaar Hotel, it is bombed and ill-equipped! All civil and military agencies are not live connected 24 hours, so we have a huge lack of communication and cooperation with all Agencies and Forces. Without an efficient communication, comes lack of cooperation and so the unsuccessful operation! The First thing before we fire bullets or send Forces or bomb anything, we must bring all This Forces and Agencies under one command and Control, of course, if necessary all Organisations can work independently , but when we want to start a country wide search and destroy operation, we need something like the PENTAGON, GHQ OF Pakistan Army can't handle and control ALL AGENCIES AND FORCES ALONE: Bottom line is-> build a modern and efficient command and control organisation with retired Staff from the Forces and young motivated personal from the Universities. Digitalisation and modernizing of all main Force and Agency Bases should be the start up, then continue to equip the Forces and Agencies with High Tech surveillance and detecting equipment, countrywide same payment for active Personal in Police and same for Shaheeds, why shaheeds in KPK get less than in Punjab...... @Signalian First we need a renovation, modernisation and drastic overhaul of all the organisation, which you have named here, quality and cooperation between all Organisation is the key to success.

Because we see as Pakistan being the snake that bites when we don't look. Mumbai massacre and Kashmir terrorist attacks in our definition are the very essence of hitting below the belt and targeting civilians.

In fact, it is India which is not aggressive enough against Pakistan. Because our public pressure prevents Govt of India from responding to Pakistan in the same way that Pakistan behaves. You are lucky. Things will change though. We will become aggressive slowly.

If you were made an over-all commander of all Special Forces of Pakistan, how would you tackle the current situation (internally and externally) that Pakistan faces from Afghanistan and India or from other insurgent factions/countries?

How would you deploy them? How would you arm them? What other resources would you ask for to get the job done?

Considering you have all the assets under your disposal:
1. SSG
2. SSG(N)
3. SSW
4. Rangers SF wing (RAT)
5. FC SF Wing (SOW)
6. CTD
7. Elite Force
8. SSU
etc.

All departments of all Intelligence agencies, ISI, MI, AI, NI, IB, FIA, CID etc are providing full support for any Ops you prepare. Other Military assets like aircrafts, artillery, ships, tanks etc may or may not be available.
You are obviously subordinate to COAS but have his full support.

which avenues will you look towards first...Pakistan internal situation? camps in Afghanistan?military threats from India especially CSD? Kashmir problem? fighting international insurgent factions that could make way into Afghanistan? or any other problems that you think need attention?

Will you prefer joint Ops with China or Russia or Turkey for this cause? how will you involve them? Will you also send your forces to fight for them when they request?

Will you try to make alliance with Muslim Militaries (GCC + Turkey) only? If you do, will you involve Iran with GCC or leave Iran out due to GCC?

How will you handle NATO/US pressure if your attempts start succeeding? How do you think can NATO/US pressurise you to stop your Ops?

Most importantly, what would be your perfect strategy and long term plan to get Pakistan out of the quagmire that its plunged in?

And last well I will have the enemy's (you understood right yes it starts with I) kids kidnapped and transported to Pakistan, brainwashed and trained for suicide attacks in enemy's territory. I would use off-def strategy like I would collect intel where Snake heads are in af then I will send Combo of para SSG,SSW in C 130/heli to hunt them down if they r far from bordar then I would send F 16/JF 17
After that is done I will seal the bordar with af , iran and india till internal cleansing .
I will Handle Nato,USA by saying enough is enough and if they threaten me I would record that footage and show that to whole world.
Who ever wants to join pakistan in coop I would welcome them no matter who they r !

@Signalian there's a dire need of an institution like home land security . Where representatives from all civil law enforcement agencies are deputed to bring in and process intelligence from their respective departments . Our LEA's don't usually share info with each other so that the other agency may not take the shabash , pathetic .

After decade of loosing innocent Pakistani men women and children ................... our policy of showing restraint and remaining fair has cost a lot ....... it has encouraged the enemy to attack us more ............... I would use none of the SF units but rather raise a highly trained and equipped death squad in which SF can tag along secretly then send that into afghani land. inspiration from history where a leader could be like Fidel&Carlos Castaño to lead this death squad.

It needs to match brutality in equal terms with isis+ttp.

There are no causes of terrorism ................ its the reasons. The answer is simple You don't give reasons to people to become foot soldiers for enemy, remove the reasons and confusion. Curing pneumonia with medicine for tuberculosis would never help.
