Ankara: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said today Tehran will not accept a comprehensive nuclear deal with major powers if all sanctions imposed on Tehran were not lifted, state television reported.

"If there is no end to sanctions, there will not be an agreement," Rouhani said in a televised speech in the northern city of Rasht. "The end of these negotiations and a signed deal must include a declaration of cancelling the oppressive sanctions on the great nation of Iran."

Rouhani also said the U.S. Congress' power to review a nuclear deal with Iran was a domestic matter. "We are in talks with the major powers and not with the Congress," he said, adding Iran wanted to end its isolation by having "constructive interaction with the world and not confrontation".

Everyone agrees that the sanctions need to be lifted.
The main point for argument between west and iran is how soon. Iran says that if it complies with all the points of the nuclear deal, there is no need for any sanctions, which need to be lifted from day 1.

Meanwhile the west says that placing sanctions is very hard and a time consuming process, so in case Iran violates the deal, it will be harder for them to place sanctions again. So they want the sanctions to be lifted slowly over time.

No country needs UN to bomb any other country. UN is window dressing. Russia can bomb any country it wants, with or without UN approval

It's possible. Iran is getting Su-35s as part of its rearming package.

What if they violate the deal? there are too many examples indicating westerns are not trustworthy .... and also sanctions are illegal .. there's been no sign of a military deviation in Iran nuclear program therefore all resloutions should be removed.

Of course they are not trustworthy. But how will they violate the deal? I mean there are no terms in the deal that they need to uphold other than lifting sanctions.
