As the saying goes, China will fight India to the last Pakistani.

It basically means China will never ever enter a war between India and Pakistan. The only chance for a two front war is if India and China are at war, the Chinese will then pressure Pakistan to do something, like another Kargil.

Or if India declares war on both countries simultaneously, but that is quite unlikely.

Any war that endangers CPEC, which we invested so much money and resources in it, will be our war.

The logic should be revers. CPEC actually stops Pakistan from engaging in any misadventure on India i.e. Kashmir.
India is not really interested in Pakistan Administered Kashmir we are perfectly okay with accepting status quo.

So i don't see India waging a war on Pakistan unless Pakistan does something really atrocious using its proxies.
