Identify this PA tank

. . . . . .
M48 for sure with a new cannon. Resurrection from the graveyard?

Compare the M-48 backside and front with this Tank and the Type-85IIM. It’s a Type-85 !! Also the structure from the side for example engine exhaust, or the casters are indicative for the Type-85IIM, I agree in this case it’s a heavily upgraded Type-85 with new addition on the turret, that’s why it’s called Type-85 UG.

Which PA tank is at .41/.50. My guess is that it is the old M48 upgraded with a 125 mm cannon.
1. At 0:38 check the rear of the tank, is that rear side similar to M-48 ?
2. At 0:48 check the road wheels, six which are same of M-48 and Type-85 but the difference of spacing in the first 2 wheels of Type-85 is more while M-48 road wheels are evenly spaced.
3. Compare hull size of both tanks and then see on which hull size can a bigger turret size fit easily.

Could be both actually. M-47 standing in factory while Type-85 rolling on road.

Hi, gap among the front wheels would align with your comment of it being T-85.
Moreover I don't think PA would be interested in maintaining M47/48s let alone modding them... Reserve would mostly be type 59s...

Type 85ug. Notice the doghouse for optics that's same as Alkhalid. Ugs were recently upgraded with AKs fcs and optics.

M47/48s are in reserves for god-forbid last ditch efforts but both Turkey and South Korea had upgraded the 47/48 series as well as the 60 series. A very interesting topic but I doubt if army would make huge investments here.

Type 85UG, easy enough to tell. No M48/47s in active service. Many scrapped or turned into monuments, maybe some in reserve but I doubt for long either given parts and ammo reserves not being ever lasting.
