Pakistan defence firms attend Istanbul fair

ISTANBUL: A Pakistani company displays its products on Wednesday at the 12th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF).—INP
ISLAMABAD: Leading defence manufacturing companies from the country are participating in a four-day International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF) in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Pakistani delegation, led by Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain, was also holding meetings with delegations from Turkey, the Middle East, Africa and Europe, among others.

Pakistan Ordnance Factories, Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Heavy Industries Taxila, Defence Export Promotion Organisation etc are the leading participants from the country.

Pakistan is offering high-tech air/ground equipment and hardware for sale in the event, which began on May 5, 2015, said a statement on Wednesday.

The LPD is a single hull vessel made of steel whose platform is designed by Navantia and combat system integrated by ASELSAN and HAVELSAN. The design is based on a combination of military and commercial standards and specifications. The structure, equipment and materials comply with Turk Loydu Classification rules and civil standards, whist her combat system, ammunition handling and stowage systems, systems of replenishment at sea, flight deck and the damage control system follow military standards

Turkish Navy LHD Mission Profiles and Capabilities

The ship is to be designed for four mission profiles:
» Amphibious ops: Capable of transporting a marine infantry force to carry out landing and support operations.
» Force Projection: Transporting forces to a theatre of operations.
» Aircraft Carrier: A platform for carrier-based naval aircrafts, acting as a flight deck for strategic projection airborne vectors (Navy's Air Wing)
» Humanitarian air ops: MOOTW (Military Operations Other Than War), humanitarian assistance, evacuation of crisis area, hospital ship in areas affected by natural disaster, etc.

We reported in January this year that Turkey took the decision to built the future LHD (Turkish designation: LPD Project) as an aircraft carrier capable to deploy the F-35B, the STOVL variant of the Lockheed Martin built Joint Strike Fighter.

Şimdi fotoları paylaşmaya başlıyorum. Piyasada çok daha iyi fotolar var ama yine de paylaşayım belki aralarında diğerlerinden daha çok beğendiğiniz fotolar çıkar. Bazı fotolar bozuk buğulu. Hatta T-129'un fotosunu müthiş bi açıdan çektim ama çok fena buğulu. Ben de sildim.

Bilgi konusuna gelince. Ne AKYA ne de ATMACA hakkında bilgi verdiler. Birine soruyorum o konuya x bölümü bakıyo diyo, gidiyorum o bölüme soruyorum o da o konuya y bölüm bakıyo diyo. Anlayacağınız hiç bilgi vermediler. O yüzden AA füzelerini hiç sormadım bile. Gezgin'i soruyorum bilmiyorum diyo adam. STM'ye TF-2000 ve MİLGEM BLOCK I/BLOCK II soracaktım oradaki biri deniz platformlarına bakan arkadaşlar toplantıda dedi.

Azeri kardeşim kusuruma bakmasın. Yerli büyük bazı standlara bile bakamadım. Bakamadıklarım arasında HAVELSAN, Yonca-Onuk, Dearsan, Ares, SARSILMAZ vb. gibi bi çok firma var. O yüzden ne Azeri ne de Pakistanlı firmalara bakabildim. Diğer yabancı firmalara zaten hiç bakmadım. Sadece MTU ve Rolls Royce standına bi girip çıktım.

Bu arada şunu da söyleyeyim. Bu fuara 1 gün asla yeterli değil. Hatta sahil tarafında savaş gemileri vardı IDEF 2015 kaosamında. Limana giriş kapısına anca yolda giderken uzaktan baktım.

Bazı sorabildiğim konular oldu. Mesela @isoo 'nun sorularına SEDEF cevap verdi. LPD Juan Carlos I'in boyutlarıylaaynı olcakmış fakat bizim donanma içini farklı dizayn ettirmiş. İçerdeki alan JC I'e göre çok daha verimli kullanılmış. Bir de dedi ki içerideki katların en üstü JC I'de AAV'lere uygun değilmiş ama bizimkinde o içerdeki en üst kat da AAV'lere uygun olacakmış. En üst katı güçlendirdik mi ne dedi. Ayrıca dedi ki 8 ayın sonunda 1.000 tonluk bölümü bitmiş olacakmış. 8 blok bitmiş olacak gibi bi ifade kullandı. İçerdeki donanım ve yazılımları ASELSAN ve HAVELSAN yapacak dedi. GENESİS-Advent, Radarlar vs. Uca phalanx eklendi dedi. Bi de ski-jump'tan söz açtım. Dedi ki "F-35B kararı alındıktan sonra ski-jump istendi biz de tekrar yerine koyduk.

Türk Tipi Hücumbot'la ilgili BiD verilmedi daha mı dedi öyle bişe dedi. BiD verilince biz de gireceğiz dedi.

Bu arada @isoo Türk mühendis alacak mısınız dedim. İmzadan sonra alacağız dedi. İmzalar da bugünn atılıyor.

@Sinan evet öndekiler IR tracker falan dedi. Yani sırf IR tracker yok. 'IR tracker vs.' manasında kurdu cümleyi ve evet öndekiler için onu dedi. Özellikle 'infrared' kelimesini kullandım.
