I saw that too but there are conflicting sources on this. Some of them may be talking about the first batch of T129 which used a slightly modified version of TopOwl, while Avci seems to be a more indigenous Aselsan design but with Thales subcontracting and which shares some components with TopOwl. In any case Hurshid is twisting the facts again because there are at least some major differences between TopOwl and Avci, namely the head tracking, displays, processing, etc so it's not a "licensed TopOwl". That would be like calling the Altay a "licensed K2" simply because Samsung-Techwin was subcontracted for some of it. And now I'm giving him ideas..
