Neither of which I would recommend Pakistan go for. There is no point in going for more fighters in the same class and generation of F-16, just save the money and go for a better option.
Sir,
You should give out a reason why---WITH NUMBERS----.
You are around 50---60 aircraft short in the F16 category---. Your JF17 production is not high enough to fill in the hole created by this fiasco----. The JF17's are only filling in their own position.
Yet you need 2 sqdrn's of top tier aircraft other than the full number of the F16's---.
So---if you are 50---60 F16's short---how are you going to cover that OPEN FLANK.
Plus---your relationship with the U S is teetering on an edge---what happened a couple of days ago---is nothing to build up any confidence.
So---if Karachi university needs 150 buses that can carry 100 students in each---but it has only 80 of them and the Daewoo company won't sell anymore---okay.
You are already building mann buses---that can carry 70 students each and your need is 200---but you only have 72 of them---but you are temporarily using buses than can carry 40 students each bus----but your production is in line to meet your requirements.
You also need some high end luxury buses---for your special occasions----.
Your problem now is that you are going to be short 70 buses that can carry 100 students each.
So---just because you are having problems with acquiring the F16's---does not mean that your need for a number of 140--150 F16's has gone with away with the disappearing aircraft.
