Idea of tolerance: Hindus in Pakistan to pay respect to Prophet Muhammad, promote Islam as peaceful

Very great initiative and much appreciated gesture by our Hindu Pakistani friends. In times when we are targeted left right and center it really touches your heart when someone does this however we must reciprocate as well. That is how we will create unity and love. Something that Islam promotes. Islam is the religion of cohesion and peace and as much as corrupt moulvis, ignorant masses, Taliban factions, Isis factions and all other factions that spread terror would have you believe otherwise, they will eventually fail in this regard.

.
A strong message even a slap on bigot mullas who always spread hate for minorities, would like to ask them they have courage to do the same in response.
My solute to those who coined this idea.
Respect.
This is exactly what I was going to ask, Now do you have same respect as they show towards your religion ?

New Delhi: Members of Hindu minority in Pakistan's Peshawar region have come forward to promote interfaith harmony by holding a conference on December 24 wherein they will pay respects to Prophet Muhammad and spread a message that Islam is a peaceful religion.
Speaking to The Express Tribune, All Pakistan Hindu Rights Movement Chairman Haroon Sarbdiyal said that through this conference a message will be sent out to the world that Islam is a peaceful religion.

Furthermore, people from all religions, members of civil societies and political parties have been invited to be a part of this cause.

“Religious extremism is not only an issue for minorities in Pakistan; it is a global issue and countries should revise their policies to clear perceptions that have been damaging the social fabric of the global society,” The Express Tribune quoted Sarbdiyal.

Minister for Religious and Minorities Affairs Haji Habibur Rehman has also supported the event.

See? There is a massive difference between Indian and Pakistani hindus. I think the intolerance, racism and hate in India is an Indian problem and not a Hindu ideology.

The word "Allah" simply means God in Arabic. Like "Rub" in Urdu, or "Bhagwan" in Hindi.
I think Rub is Punjabi, but Khuda is Urdu.

Can any one of those Hindus become the head of state of Pakistan ?
They make up less than 1%. I'd like to see a Muslim in the US try for HoS.

Pakistani hindus have a weird ideology they visit shrines, churches, gurdwaras and in Sindh are part of muharram jaloos they are very different from Indian hindus

Interfaith harmony in Pakistan is very bad news for our enemies.
Promote and Practice it.
Merry Christmas

Meanwhile an Ahmadi has been jailed for ''blasphemy''. The irony. Pakistani Hindus have to do this event to keep extremists away from lynching them or kidnapping their daughters.

I still have not understood how this is about tolerance? I mean the 1% are tolerating the 97% by accepting and respecting their faith while the 97% make laws that disqualify the 1% from attaining highest posts in the country, thus making them second class citizens.

Now all those 100s of threads on tolerance in india posted by pakistanis make sense. The confusion was because tolerance has different meanings in the two countries, same as charity, terrorism, indigenous, ghairat, sovereignty etc etc.
