IAF to upgrade 80 Su-30MKIs to ‘Super Sukhoi’ standard

Around 2 million for a single brahmos, and 700,000 for a Storm Shadow. Brahmos will be used for heavily defended targets, while Storm Shadow for general long range strikes.
Buddy can you clarify that wether 700,000 is in Euro's,Pound's or Dollars

Something shocking.

Stormshadow has a history of misfires, not guiding to target and warhead failures on hitting a target. The RAF has substantial stocks of Stormshadow missiles (900 were ordered). Each cost $1.3 million, having a range of 400 miles.

Very credible source.

The missiles with a range around 300 kms would be in addition to the 290-km range BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles which would be carried by around 50 aircraft of the force. :woot:

idrw.org is not the most reliable source, they might just took media reports that certain MBDA missiles are on offer for IAF and related them to MKI, although it's more likely that Mirage 2000 or Rafale will get them.
For MKI Brahmos, newer versions of Kh59 and in future Nirbhay and Brahmos light will be the choices.

you made me sad:cry: zakir bhai ok if it is 270 dont un think tht IAF sud procure another tranche of 40-50 a/cs to counter all chinese sukhoi threat ........

That's what Rafale is meant for as well, so no need for more MKIs, when we produce Rafale and LCA from 2015 onwards too.
