So what buddy. Everyone knows about that. But one correction. Its not a successor of trishul. Its a blend of MICA and TRISHUL. And all the important systems that includes active homing-head, thrust vector control, terminal guidance system and composites for a modified propulsion system for the missile will be done by MBDA only. And later they have to transfer technology to DRDL for indian development. So till that time we need a gap filler. Dont worry this will take another five years if it goes as per plan for MAITRI development or may be extended 2 more years too.

3-4 YRS First test. Filler is IGLA - 18+

The missile has already been inducted in the army and it was first user trial by the IAF.

What? This missile has already been inducted without carrying out trials for its efficacy? If trials were indeed carried out before induction, what were the results? How come the kill probability is almost zero at this stage?

Something doesn't add up here. There must be more than meets the eye!
