I think their pilots like to save the plane since for example the cost of crashing a F-16 or Mirage is higher with no replacements of the exact type. That will change with Jf-17 as its available in higher numbers.

India buys Martin-Baker ejection system. You don't make any indigenously.

If its not going to operational until 2025 so its good for your country.

All JF-17s have MB 0/0 MK16 ejection seats. The same goes for F-7s with earlier models of MB seats. In the case of the F-7s, the cost of the MB seat was near half the cost of the aircraft.

PAF does not cut on quality when it comes to ejection seats.

In 1971 war as per PAF historian Kaiser Tufail IAF lost 59 aircraft out of 625 combat aircraft and PAF lost 42 out of 280 combat aircraft.
PAF loss rate was much higher.
