I am very happy, some of the declared failed systems by others are being termed successful now. Akash, I heard about LCA getting IOC by this year. Ifteda E Ishq hai rota hai kya aage aage dekheiyee hota hai kya. "It is just the beginning lets see what happens in future".
DRDO will do wonders.

The simple thing that people do not understand regarding our defense industry is earlier their was hardly any focus and money. Now we have both and you will see the result.

Exactly i don't why IA is waiting...

It is the best they can get in this price..

120 mil $ for akash and look at the size of order from IAF about a 1 billion $.. and more to come ..they should also consider Akash for export to friendly countries...

Akash is really one of the best systems in its class. DRDO / BEL should concentrate on the exports also. we can easily grabe good amount of orders considering the price tag compared to the western system of the same configration. or otherwise transfer the whole system to a private partener (may be 50:50 partnership in Gov and the private partner) for the exports.
