Thanks for the article.

Yes its a bad investment if they leave the service in between, It takes millions for any country to train a pilot and if the value is not realised from such a huge investment its of no use.
And it talks about no females in combat scenario. Fair enough.

What if you have to eject or land in the enemy territory and if taken hostage, what all punishment can a women expect. You never know how ruthless is the enemy.
Its a very old issue. Like 3 4 months back this fuss was in media and long born debates also took place.

People have different opinion on this, But one must understand its not that women are not brave or something but its the biological factor(I will provide the link on this if asked, proven fact) which will not serve the purpose to the fullest level, It is not a fixed fight that the enemy is going to be a women only.

..and what if the enemy is ruthless? Can't be any worse than what you did to your own mother on your way into this world?

This Issue of Women as GDP is not that simple. Pregnancy is one of the major issues but if we see overall its very complicated.
On a lighter side one day Air force will say Ok we will induct women but before they get married we are going to block the fallopian tube of the groom for 10 years :lol:

Great reply....This talk of women are weak or bilogical factors all is rubbish....Have a set standards for entry to armed forces...Don't relax them for women and if someone is fulfilling your criteria than irrespective of sex he/she should be recruited....

P.S : You are not recruiting kids...They are all adults and if women has no problems in facing the realities of combat(including the kind of torture they can face if captured) than what the heck is anyone else problem...

why do i have to repeat every where that women have proved their capabilities in combat despite all that BS about 'biological factor'
some people are just to worked up at seeing Women been 'superior' to them

This is part and parcel of the package. Every profession has its own drawbacks. When you choose a profession you should be aware of the dangers associated with it. After all women are serving in military in different countries. What do you think they are not aware of such things.
