What will happen to CDS department ? Their entire top CDS leadership got wiped out. IAF chief was already at odds with Bipin and now he will make sure that new cds chief position just remains ceremonial. Bipin was a strong general because of Modi govt backing despite of his failures against Pakistan and China. Now IAF and IN will make sure that new CDS chief doesn't interfere much.

Yes. Bipin was the lynchpin of Indian military's re-organization and integration of various services. This incident is definitely at least a short term gain for India's adversaries; at least some focus on what Bipin was doing will be removed in short term.
