There is no engine upgrade involved in DARIN III. It is an upgrade to the avionics. About the engine upgrade (separately); RR left the competition which leaves only Honeywell's bid. Correctly speaking, its not an engine upgrade which was projected; but a re-engine package.

We need to remove all mig-21(200), mig-27 and Jaguars.(245)wiki. Jaguars engines are just provide 35kn each thrust. LCA mark 2 may be good solution for Mig-21s. There is no plane or project of stealth aircraft below 10,000 kg empty weight available. all are above 10,000km range. amca and fgfa both are in heavy and medium fighters category. we need small category stealth.

In future we might have 200 LCA, + 250 Amca,+ pak fa-50+ fgfa-200+ 250+sukhoi= 950.
