The aircraft removal kit i guess is to work with restoring the tyres(inflated/destroyed) so that the crashed turkish craft can be towed safely for runway to operate. The C130 was pressed into service for its ability to land with limited runway as main runway it seems is still blocked. Also the clearing may result in normalcy in operation from friday 10 00 am local time

After being unable to remove the plane with the equipment it had, the TIA management had borrowed machinery and equipment from the Department of Roads to move the 150-tonne plane, but were unable to move it, as they are designed to handle loads up to 70 tonnes only. After all efforts to remove the crashed aircraft failed on Wednesday, the government had decided to invite Indian Air Force for the task.

Turkey should think about how India helps when they are in need. Maybe they just think how weapons development with Pakistan goes against our security.

Irrespective of a country wants or needs or requests, India should always step up and help every nation it can especially in humanitarian needs or when such disasters strikes. TIA (kathmandu) is in bad shape and if Nepal Gov can privatise it then india should ask GVK/GMR to build a world class airport similar to ones in Hyd/Bang/Mum and especially place means to help pilots land in fog conditions.

Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Khorasan, sunni Indians are Turks ethnic & sunni kin. What you are asking will never ever happen. Indians do you know Sultan Babur Khan and the "Mughals" are ethnic Turks. Not Mongols. Not Persians. Not Indians. Right?

If its Pakistan or the aircraft leave the aircraft as is. It is the right of India to leave the aircraft as is till Turkish equipment arrives. Do not fear, Turks will help no matter what India chooses.

There's more to it than that. Yes India is geopraphically closer but the entire world is but a few hours flight from one another and Turkey is but a few hours away by air.

It is clear from reports that the Turkish officals tried to get this sorted out themsevles then turned to the Indians, I wonder why a flight was not dispatched from Turkey but alas, all's well that ends well....
