When India says 2 front it means the whole northern front from Kashmir to Arunachal pradesh. By the way have you figured out where US will stand in this.

It will be a golden opportunity for US to shed Chinese blood without risking US lives. If US can help Mujaheddin against he Soviets they can definitely help India against the Chinese.

3 to 4 battle carrier groups in the Bay of Bengal and you sir will be humiliated. There will never be a 2 on 1 war believe me .

What will happen if US and Indian Navy harass Chinese merchant carriers.
It will be fun when Indian and US Navy subs ping Chinese VLCCs

What if Malacca strait becomes very Hostile to Chinese Ships and Chinese VLCCs .

What if India threaten to fire Brahmos missiles on any Ship carrying Chinese merchandise .

What if US seeing the opportunity calls China a currency manipulator and Europeans join in and put severe Non tariff barriers and Tariff barriers how many billions will you lose



By the way You guys worry about North Korea and Taiwan now and be careful of the new Asian NATO forming US + India+ Japan + Australia + few others will join don't worry .

PAF has it's own doctrine and plans in place, else one can argue that while Tejas project began long before Kargil where as the JF-17 started a decade later.... and now PAF has five of the types squadrons operational.

India only has at most 1megaton non thermonuclear missiles (assuming it works). China has over 294 megaton thermonuclear (CIA estimated from 1990. But clearly its most likely 600 megaton now conservatively estimates). If there is nukes flying around, it be targeting Indian soil.

wrong calculation this is just bean counting and stop quoting figures which are wrong as far as India's nuclear weapons are concerned some of them are written by Indians by the way the IPFM figure for India's fissile material is wrong purposefully to downgrade hostility towards India and best of all it was written by an India go figure .

Looks like the only aircraft you can compare the Jf17 is to the Tejas, else you won't be talking abt it all the time!.

Where US will stand? Check how nice Trump is showing to China and Xi, under Trump US will withdraw globally big time and US will suffer no less than China if it tries to block China's trading route, that also means it blocks its own trading routes, China US relationship is much much more complex than what you can see. So don't count on others help, it won't come.

The IA today has 15 corps, and out of that Pak faces 9+1 corps, China faces 5+1 Corps. The +1 is a Corps based in Srinagar which can act against both countries.

So it's not 80:20. The majority is facing Pakistan, and that's only because of the need to primarily conduct offensive operations, which requires numbers.

The army is being restructured so that we will end up with 2 armies, in terms of logistics. One dedicated against one country. Plus, even the holding and pivot corps are being upgraded with tremendous offensive power because of Cold Start.

But if we are talking about offensive power alone, then 100% is aimed at Pakistan as of now, until the XVII Corps stands.

And none of this applies to the air force anyway.

the way it is divided. I think indian army don't have much numerical advantage against Pakistan. Honestly speaking with this number india can just fight a war with Pakistan(in one front scenario). just 1:1.6 ratio against pakistan which is not much to handle when you are in defensive position. if china is involved too than i think number favours the coalition with clear decisive edge.
