I am pretty sure she has a much better understanding of the world and different cultures present in India and in the world than you. She has met prominent people around the world, unlike you. She is also recognized around the world, unlike you. She is respected around the world, unlike you. She is also very smart, .......
So do not think that she would assume the same stereotypes that you associate with Indians.

She has a better understanding of the world and relates more to Indian while being a Pushtoon from Swat valley while she was talking to an Indian magazine. Lol. Who we are kidding here kid?

The fact is these are just courtesy words like Indian or Pakistani celebrities say all the time while talking to each others media. There is nothing new here. She talked to an Indian magazine. Said a few courtesy words for India which were very dumb realistically speaking. And here you kids are jumping over them. Grow up boys. There is nothing in the hollow words.

One thing is SURE

Malala is much more intelligent than you
And she has seen the world ; she knows the difference between things

Another thing is sure.

Arundhati roy is much more intelligent than you and malala.

Of course the girl will say positive things regarding India when being interviewed by an Indian. What is she supposed to say?

This has to do more so with manners than genuineness.

What if I say yes I am?

And no it is NOT necessary to butter the interviewer. She supposed to be honest and tell what actually she likes or dislikes, rather seeing the interviewer is an Indian and now I should relate myself completely to his/her ethnicity and values.
