I need help guys!!!
I need to prepare a presentation from a video and it seems my PRINT SCREEN doesnt work while this video is on .
This video can not be played in any other windows media player/VLC media player etc, it belongs to another company and it runs on their software.In short they have disabled such a function for piracy reasons (I think)
Is there any way I can go around it and circumvent it?? :(

I tried googling it already but all in vain. :(

@jamahir @Jazzbot @SarthakGanguly @kurup @DRAY @arp2041 @Horus @Leader @Nova2
@OrionHunter @Armstrong @SpArK and others... :(

upload video and then take screenshot? or pause and take ss with mobile?
print screen should work almost at any cost.

Can we have link to video?

Does the print screen work normally? That is without the video on? That will clear the situation for me.

Which OS are you using?

Do you have onenote?

Can you tell us the file extension? like is it .rar/.gif/jpeg (example). You should see that by right clikcing and select properties.

Also it can be illegal to have print screen (since it's disabled for a reason). Not sure if webmaster allows discussion on copyright material. You may have paid for video but your rights on it maybe limited.

If you want to snip, open the video in window mode (not full screen). Now go to start -) type snip and open snipping tool program. Click new and select the region around the video. Now paste it on PowerPoint.

let us start by finding what type the file is ( file format )... every file has a "magic number" or "magic sequence" in the beginning bytes of the file...

1. for linux os... part of the os is the "file" program which tells you what type of file your input file is... usage - file <name of file to enquire >

2. for windows os... there is a windows port for "file" program, download from this link ( File for Windows ) and install.

---

this will be the start... let's see if we solve this problem within the hour... :-)

Yes...You can use snipping tool......
HOW?
just press windows+R, then Run will appear on the screen, then type "snippingtool" without these quotes...now click on new ( or when you open snipping tool it will automatically open new screen), now with the help of left click select how much portion of the screen you want to take screenshot of...then after you unhold the left click button, the windows will show you the screenshot, Then save it as whatever format you like ( JPEG,PNG etc...)...Simple..... this idea is by @Pride .....:-)...:cheers:
