ISPR was forced into by the government who was harping about enlightened moderation at the time.

Feminazis and liberalandus ke Pakistan me. Where vulgarity will be considered to be a norm

Have you visited Army cantonments? You will be able to find bars there. Before Zia, alcoholic consumption was not uncommon.

One of the reasons I support Army is due to liberalism injected after Musharraf era.

Thats unfortunate. We need to supress liberals and make our Army a true Mujahid

So you only support your armed forces when they are used by a minority due to impose false cultural beliefs on majority?

I thought you supported them as an institution of the State under democratic principles which is apolitical.

Tsk Tsk Tsk

Tsk tsk ISPR item song.

It seems to me by the look of your posts. You will be the first one to memorize it if martial law gets declared and enlightened moderation shoved down the throat again.

Interesting to see you live in Turkey where people died opposing that by running on head first towards charging military tanks.

Tsk Tsk Tsk !!

There's no other way to impose secular laws, otherwise through democratic process it would take a 50 years given that we don't get another Zia. Turkey is already a pure secular state. Pakistan isn't.

So it is safe to assume you are a secular fascist?

Fascist is a strong word. Secularism will only bring about a separation of religion from state, and a true form of freedom.
I never claimed to be a hard core liberal. I don't believe in LGBTQ+ shenanigans, for example.

Besides, I would call myself a nationalist rather. I only want to see Iqbal's and Quaid's dream come true. If you read into Iqbal's work, you will find a unique set of ideas about Islamic politics and its role.

So much so, just look at this, a quotation straight from a fundamentalist ulema of that time, I have many, many more references.

Remarks of Maulana Najmuddin Islahi may be noted. (Muktubat-e-Sheikhul Islam, Vol. III, Page 141):

“We regard as a Shar’i crime to give a higher status to Iqbal than that of a mere poet and a philosopher. We have carefully examined his works. There is no denying the fact that there are hundreds and thousands of his verses which may be considered as useful; nevertheless among them there are numberous such verses which openly hit Islam and Islamic way of thing king--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In Pakistan the principle of law making can be adopted in the light of Iqbal’s thought because the Islam on which Pakistan has ‘been founded is another name of the philosophy of Iqbal.”

Why? Iqbal believed that Islam's base and foundation were to stay the same for all times, however, the Islamic law was subject to rigorous social changes depending on the timeline. His opinions and works on the abolishment of Caliphate, and setup of Turkish Republic, shed light into his unique beliefs which stem down to a secular state that symbolically represented Islam.

I do not care to read all of this after your admission of imposing ideologies on masses by brutal subjugation at the hands of the armed forces of the country for your political ideology.

You can wrap it in Karl Marx or Mullah of your choosing. It is not a matter of debate for you after all because might is right as per your fanatical beliefs.

Sometimes radical steps are necessary, specially when your opponent also resorts to extreme violence at every insignificant turn.

If you don't read, then there's nothing to argue about. You haven't seen my point of view, which I presented from an angle of our founding fathers.

Perhaps you adore the likes of JI, TLP and so on, more than Jinnah and Iqbal, I don't. We're not the same.
