I consider India a global power: H.Clinton

As india has been propped up to be economic giant, US intend to fully milk that cash cow. Sure india will deploy its all famous deception and tricks to stave off american pressure.

IF US can not milk money out of "strategic partner" and "global power" then "strategic relation" and “global power” will have different meaning altogether.

Shrvan, it was a general observation .. not specific to your post but in reference to some of the other fellow posters here .. since you replied to one of them I thought of giving an opinion on the subject...

You are right Clinton's words are mere compliments. We Indians should say thanks, begin the deal, use it if its any good (I have serious difficulties in understanding the wisdom of buying F-16 and F-18). The real deal is to grow in a balanced manner and only we ourselves can do anything about it.
