I can't PM anyone!

Dear Mods,

I can't PM anyone until I have 700 posts! Is there a intelligible reason for this or is it just me that thinks this is silly? I just received a PM from someone today and I can't respond because it says I need 700 posts to do so.

I'm a site-administrator at other forums and have never come across this rule in any of those systems.

Can this please be changed?

I just received another PM from someone who's demanding a response! How can I tell him I'm not ignorant, he thinks I'm ignoring him!

DUDE, i have protested a lot on this forum to change this rule but it wasn't changed

And i don't think webmaster is going to change this rule!!!

BTW, if you want to reply to anyone's PM you can leave a visitor message on his profile page!!!
