I believe in Romancing the India-Pakistan border

A very complex problem India and Pakistan is in

Paksitani or appropriately the common Pakistani does not have a lot of control in the terrorism being exported and difficulty for India to trust anything related to Pakistan for the most basic of instincts, self-preservation!

Not even the state anymore..
This virus of terror has become self sustaining now.. and when you initially host a virus.. you should also know that you will be the first to die of it.. and will need a much stronger antidote than anybody else to cure it.

Its like riding a tiger without knowing how to get off without getting eaten up! :(

Pakistani text books and the way Pakistani members talk here referring to Indians as Hindus clearly shows what they are taught and how they think of India

What is wrong with word" Hindus". You get offended when someone call you a hindu ? We never referred Indian Muslims as hindus and Hindu is simply a word refer to someone who follow philosophy of Hinduism and its better than word porki, Porkistani, or musla you guys use too often for us on your defence forums or on news sites. I don't know where did you learned these words? :)

you mean what by romancing? Having S** or love Borders cant do this, Pakistan is male and India is Ga*

Hindustan- would that mean on Hindus are allowed?

BTW, Hindu is not even a relgion....Isn't the religion Vedantist or Vedanta- those who follow/ practise based on the Vedas?

From the word Hindustan, the people would be Hindus...It doesn't refer to a religion...

You can call us Hindustanis, dear. We will be very happy. But to any average Indian, the word "hindu" is a religion, not philosophy. You just can not call an indian muslim "Hindu" just bcz he lives in Hindustan. Isn't it?

Sadly, many here know this very well but I feel derive some kind of pleasure in not doing it..

Anyways, if we care about what people would call us when there is more important things to do, who really gives a damn!

according to Indian constitution ,the word "Hindu" is attributed to all persons professing any Indian religion (i.e. Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism or Sikhism)

The word Hindu is derived from the Sanskrit word Sindhu, first mentioned in the Rig Veda, was the historic local appellation for the Indus River in the northwestern part of the Indian subcontinent.

The usage of the word Hindu was further popularized for Arabs and further west by the Arabic term al-Hind referring to the land of the people who live across river Indus and the Persian term Hindū referring to all Indians. By the 13th century, Hindustān emerged as a popular alternative name of India, meaning the "land of Hindus".

Originally, Hindu was a secular term which was used to describe all inhabitants of the Indian subcontinent (or Hindustan) irrespective of their religious affiliation.

This happens when you just spend five minutes on wikipedia.

Explanation I.—The wearing and carrying of kirpans shall be deemed to be included in the profession of the Sikh religion.
Explanation II.—In sub-clause (b) of clause (2), the reference to Hindus shall be construed as including a reference to persons professing the Sikh, Jaina or Buddhist religion, and the reference to Hindu religious institutions shall be construed accordingly.

see mate, life in India is not as religion centric as in Pakistan. and i don't know which forums you are talking about but there are umpteen cases in this forum where Pakistanis have referred to the Indian debating them as Hindus..only to be rebuked by many of them saying that they are actually not Hindus.

Somehow Pakistanis have this opinion that Indians are only Hindus or at any rate nationalist Indians are only Hindus. both these assumptions are equally false and give an insight to the thinking of an avg Pakistani where identity comes from religion.
