What's new

I am Prime Minister and not a peon : Gillani

arre bhai ... letter main likh deta hu... throw zardari in jail....

Sorry Mr Gillani , I thought you were there to Serve the Nation , Not to Rule the Nation . but then again like all Pakistanis may be i am fool too.

WHAT was the ened of this goon to go and talk about this?

And that too in Seraiki?

He represents Pakistan, not a small ethnic area, he is the pime minister not the Chief minister of one province.

BTW, he also blabbered something in a convocation ceremony, what the need to bring politics in a convocation ceremony.

The governemnt's duty is to serve the public, but in Pakistan the public serves the government.

Someone please tell Mr. Gillani that in these days peons more qualified and more educated than him.
Even master degree holders are applying for peon posts due to lack of jobs and opportunities so MR. PM dont disrespect peons.

when you have these jokers running the country then you can only say Allah is running this country

In polls after polls, since 1970 elections, the PPP either wins or gets second highest numbers of votes a lot of times--all across Pakistan! So the 5000-10,000 bloggers here and elsewhere probably constitute less than the number of CASTED votes in one National Assembly seat.

Now, this is not a defense of Gilani. It is just to point out the disconnect between the 'masses' versus the media perception.

As to why Gilani is willing to go prison? Well, he was chosen for his 'loyalty' to Zardari. Gilani chose to remain in prison for several years instead of getting on with Musharraf's govt. when several other PPP stalwarts joined Musharraf. Coming from a powerful, wealthy family and to resist the 'offers' made to him (certainly a Cabinet post) he chose the prison. He was noticed. And he was chosen as the Prime Minister.

PS. PPP needs to get rid of these feudals like Gilani, Zardari etc. But that needs to happen along with an overall evolution of Pakistan. Short of that---perhaps an Iran-like Mullah revolution or even a Bolshevik Revolution?

If he can't write a simple letter than he shall be lucky to have the job of a peon.

BTW.. nothing is wrong to be a peon.

What may be expected for the ruler of Islami Jumeirah Pakistan. Cant recite BISMILLAH Sharif, Surah Ikhlas.....
