How about the idea of 'Greater Asia' similar to the European union? One currency .. free trade, one visa for all?
Pakistan, India, SL, China, BD, Russia etc.,

If not for all the mutual hatred wouldn't something like this be all too powerful for the west to counter?

I know, the idea is crazy and not practical, but what are your thoughts?
