well about the airplanes it won't change anything because before that Iran Parliament passed a law that told the Armed force they are not allowed to buy any military airplanes and if they want new one they must build it themselves .

Its really tuff task for Israel rough stats are like this.

1:To destroy Natanz nuclear facility they need to deliver 40 to 50 GBU-28 bunker buster bombs.
25 F-15s or F-16s and Escort Aircrafts require.

2: Arak
8 GBU-28 Bombs, 4 or 8 F-16/F-15s.

3: Esfahan
8 GBU-27, 4 or 8 F-15/F-16s require.


There are three routes

1: Northern Route over Turkey and Syria
2: Central Route Over Jordan, Syria and Iraq
3: Southern Route: Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

What Iran needs to do is to defend these sites heavily with all type of available SAM's and must have a counter attack plan.

but f-15i and f-16i are base upon modern technology
you can only survive iff you deploy some of your jets in Syria

Well, I have a different take on this. I do not think that F-16s or the F-15 SEs would be used but rather the American B-52 bombers flying high above radar coverage armed with their new Massive Ordnance Penetrator, or MOP. This mother of all bombs is a 30,000-pound bunker buster which the the USAF has developed in conjunction with Boeing to attack concrete bunkers, tunnels and underground facilities up to 300ft deep!

According to Boeing, it "allows the warfighter to hold the adversary's most highly valued military facilities at risk, especially those protecting weapons of mass destruction."Pentagon officials are trying to ensure that 20 of the bombs are battle ready - possibly for use against Iran, though officials have been tight-lipped on potential targets.

Well I wonder how high those B-52 can fly high enough to be out of the range of Iran Radars and Air defense
don't forget normal cruise height for AIM-54 is around 100,000 feet and then it dive on the target from that
Altitude and its main target when designed was AWACS and Bombers like B-52.
also the radar used in Qareh air defense system can track and engage target at
the altitude of around 46km

But Israelis are not dogs and if proper support is given by US they will attack Iran .

I recommend Zbigniew Kazimierz Brzezinski's book "The Grand Chessboard", he is the master of Chess games in US and the mastermind behind Soviet debacle.

The guy is an effing genius his book should be read ,2 weeks back on CNN he was against any Iranian invasion.

He also advised the Bush admin in 2001 that go to Afghanistan eliminate the threats but do not try to impose democracy,nation building etc. because he saw what happened to the Soviets.
