The following drawing, exclusively prepared by Al Clark for The Aviationist, shows how an attack by a formation of F-15Is on a nuclear facility located in downtown Tehran might look like.

Obviously, it is only a fictional scene, however it is quite realistic for an eventual strike on the Tehran Nuclear Research Center, that is located not far from the Milad Tower, clearly visible on the background.

Someone might argue that the first and most of strikes would be launched at night. That is true, but it is quite likely that subsequent missions would be flown during daylight conditions too. Even the surroundings of the Nuclear Research Center are probably a bit different from those depicted, the payload could be different, and so on, but please take it just as an interesting artwork.

Iran needs to do get its air force powerful. They should go for JF-17s and J-10s.
Its such a beautiful country and i just hope they try to cause least damage as possible
Iran Zameen Zindabad!

.
wrong picture, f15 need to drop external fuel tanks before reaching Tehran or actually engaging into act of war... ...

Not going to help, atleast not now.
The best they can do is pray and hope that Israel doesn't start the war. There nuclear program however musn't be stopped under International pressure.

the area looks like "kati pahari" in Karachi :cheesy:

With such advancement in armament and all that, do they really need to fly that low to engage the targets. Seems more like an old episode of air wolf.

Considering if, and thats a big IF, Israel decides to launch attacks, the strikes would most likely be very early in the morning as previously seen with Osirik and Syria. Also, there would be no "swarms" or multiple attacks - logistical nightmare! It would be one co-ordinated strike against multiple targets or attack on a single target. No aircraft will come back for 'seconds'. Too risky. It would be plain and simple "hit and run".
