Hyderabad vet’s case: All four accused killed in encounter, say police

UK also shot one man last week also Iam not defending any one

That happened to a terrorist who had already killed two people and had a suspected bomb belt on him.
Police had no choice as there was a fear he would have detonated the bomb belt.

Now what do you think of this police execution in "India" with no due process followed?

Yeah right....

So the police had suspects in custody and for some reason they had a gun in their hands when they were taken to the scene to re-enact their crime?

Please come up with a better excuse for this execution of suspects. Even if they were guilty, the police who killed them should be charged for murder.

I don't think Indian Police was riding with armed suspects to the crime site? To prove an encounter; these boys do know where to shoot themselves or by the officer which will soon recommend the injured soldiers for prize & awards. It would have been far better if Indian Police came with an excuse that while they were reaching the site, partner in crime attacked police party and during exchange of fire; four suspects were shot while they tried to escape.

Indian police are obviously of low IQ it seems.

Banana republic ban gaya hain ye. Playing to the gallery. Public blood lust ko satisfy kia. No long terminal solution.

Now people will demand this elsewhere. Bahut bura hoga agar ye chalta raha toh.

Why has India become so lawless?

It was an extra judicial murder and everyone know that like day and night. Period.

Executions sans due judicial process isn't particularly uncommon in India. Every year a few hundred are killed.

I am not a purist. Extra judicial killings have been successfully used in the past to bring the Bombay underworld under control. But that used to happen in a 'controlled' manner and only very dangerous gangs used to be targeted. But here it is almost as if Hyderabad police is bragging - "Look! We are such heroes. Thod dia saalo ko!"

The four men who are accused of raping and killing the Hyderabad veterinarian were killed in an encounter on Friday, Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar told PTI.

The encounter took place around 3.30 am when the accused were trying to flee while being taken to the murder site, reported Hindustan Times. Two policemen were also reportedly injured in the incident.

"The Central Park jogger case was a criminal case in the United States based on the assault and rape of Trisha Meili, a 28-year-old white woman who was jogging in the park, and attacks on eight other persons, in areas ranging from the North Woods to the Reservoir of Manhattan's Central Park, on the night of April 19, 1989.
...
Prosecution of the five remaining defendants in the rape and assault case was based primarily on confessions which they had made after police interrogations. None had counsel during this questioning. Within weeks, they each withdrew these confessions, pleaded not guilty, and refused plea deals on the rape and assault charges. None of the suspects' DNA matched the DNA collected from the crime scene: two semen samples that both belonged to one unidentified man. No substantive physical evidence connected any of the five teenagers to the rape scene, but each was convicted in 1990 of related assault and other charges. Subsequently, known as the Central Park Five, they received sentences ranging from 5 to 15 years.
...
In 2001, Matias Reyes, a convicted murderer and serial rapist serving life in prison, confessed to officials that he had raped the female jogger. His DNA matched that found at the scene, and he provided other confirmatory evidence. He said he committed the rape alone.[3] Reyes could not be prosecuted for raping Meili, because the statute of limitations had passed. In 2002 Robert Morgenthau, District Attorney for New York County, had his office conduct an investigation and recommended to the state court that the convictions of the five men on all charges be vacated. The court vacated their convictions in 2002, and the state withdrew all charges against the men."

Agree - there are some unique situations in which I might support such actions. In Pakistan the Lashkar-E-Jhangvi chief, his two sons & some of his top associates were neutralized in such a manner. Everyone knew what the LeJ was, that sectarian organizations like the LeJ would threaten, kill or bribe witnesses from recanting or staying silent, that even many judges were afraid of hearing their cases, let alone convicting them.

This particular situation does not appear to be one of them.

It is extra-judicial killings that wiped out the Bombay Mafia..It is extra-judicial killings that will wipe out such sort of sexual assaults
