Hmmm B should go with self defense defense. Point that A came with full intention to kill and I just used self defense.

As for the incident. The thing is it doesn't matter if the A was Muslim or B was Muslim or both were Hindu. The point is if the incident was religiously motivated. If not then its another regrettable crime which should not be seen with the lenses of religion or politics.

For example if A a Muslim robber in karachi robs B a Hindu on bike then this is not a religiously motivated incident. Its simply a crime. A would have robbed anybody irrespective of his religious or political affiliation. Thus such an incident cannot be used to malign Pakistan. Joe I hate it when religious or political colours are given to an event that had nothing to do with it...

If what you say is true then thus thread is regrettable and op should have done research. Either the title should be amended or the thread should be closed..

We can discuss the psychological aspect of why despite being in more numbers does a crowd not intervene when an incident happen and why one crowd at another place may intervene but not at other. ....

All of us locals think it was just a 'crime' crime. There have been a series of copycat open killings, the majority on land or rent disputes, but some more were 'honour' killings. Bewildering; we never, ever had 'honour' killings before, and seem to be copying what weirdos do elsewhere.

Honour killings. That's a disease. It should be worrying if such incidents which had never happened before are happening. Maybe the honour killings were done by those that migrated to the area or by their motivation. Motivation by others is considered a massive reason behind honour killings. More often then not the murderer
is compelled into it by his surrounding. Police in villages often book instigators of honour killings as well but they more often than not go scot free due to legal loopholes.
