Like @Amavous said, this doesn't have to be a full Pakistani special ops team being dropped into enemy territory (in another country) to carry out ops, and then have to be extracted - those tend to be very risky operations. What's more likely is that you have intel/special forces assets embedded with various groups that are leveraging various entities on the ground to carry out these attacks.

Could also be counter intelligence - feeding false intel to the Afghans/US about the identity of these targets, making them think they're ISIS/Afghan Taliban.

And could also be the US, trying to demonstrate to Pakistan that they're finally willing to take out TTP/JUA terrorists in exchange for Pakistan facilitating the peace talks with the Afghan Taliban.

Most probably YES. Afghan Taliban are Pakistan's most effective and primary assets in Afghanistan.

There is a history in Afghanistan of local drug lords doing that kind of dirty work too for the highest bidder.

However since these deaths are still in process and continuous we can post individual threads for each death for some time and then later on merging them into the sticky thread

Well we have a history of SSG or Commando operation both in ISI and outside level. So don’t be surprised if it true. It is agency job to exploit the fault line of the enemy. This is how an intelligent Agency works. Some time undercover, some time behind the scenes and some time through 3rd party task. All options are explored when a job is required to be done.
