As for 'trying to invade a country', do you say the same when NATO soldiers die in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, etc? Because they're actually invading countries. A bunch of people coming to your shores on inflatable boats isn't an 'outright invasion'. Two dozen countries firing tomahawks at you and carpet bombing your capital is an outright invasion.
