Among them hide the terrorists....cross the border while army is looking for them, and later come back when operation is over...
Tribe or not...this trend has to stop...or they can stay with their 'hospitable afghan brothers' forever...
Why bother coming back?

May be. But their decision is not wrong. They must have known that Punjab and karachi didnt welcome IDPs of swat operation, note that all IDPs of military operations are staying in KPK....Like i said we are one big family.

the shelling doesnt take place for no reason , giving shelter to those involved in killing army personel does not go unpunished
Have you thought of a possibility that these tribals are threatened at gun point by terrorists and since there is now law and order to protect them, they have no choice but allow these terrorists.

People are not safe from terrorists at major cities of Pakistan, what chance these tribals have to get security.

And are women and children of these tribal regions allowing terrorists too ?

Guys, it's last week's news...already posted.....just desperation by OP. !!

Boongiyaan na maar.

@Topic Good for them. We should seal the border so that they can make themselves comfortable there. A civilian would never migrate to a war torn country.

Idiot. Durand line practically doesnt exist for us pashtuns. And we wont allow any one to seal or fence it.

True that Sindh under PPP did something shameful by blocking swatis from entering the province....

But that was a totally different situation...

Its about time the tribals make their choice...if they want their Afghanistan or want to stay as Pakistsnis...
Too much loss of life and money has been suffered due to their crooked tribal mentality...
Enough should be enough.

One can expect such indiscriminate firing from American drones..But how can Pakistan shell and bomb its own tribals, especially when there are women and children present there.

Those running into Afghanistan have somrthing to hide..
Or they had stayed there...
Its not that PA bombs built up areas indiscriminate..
Terrorists take refuge in Afghanistan during such operations.

It's nothing new:

Drone strikes kill militants, others kill the innocent.
January 18, 2013

At around 8.30am. yesterday, a Pakistan Army gunship helicopter appeared in the skies above Hassukhel, a small village in Tehsil Mir Ali, North Waziristan. The helicopter descended above a house and started firing indiscriminately. According to reports by the locals, at least twenty five people were killed, with most of the deceased comprising predominantly of women and children.

My friend’s aunt lived in the said village. As she saw the helicopter open fire, she instantly worried about her buffalo, her only source of income. Thus, she ran towards the animal and tried to lead it inside. Unfortunately she could not gain shelter in time and the fire from the helicopter shot her and the buffalo.

When her children – both under ten years of age – saw their beloved mother writhing in pain beside the dead animal, they ran towards her in panic.

The gunship helicopter, oblivious to all of this, continued to fire.

The two children, a boy and a girl were shot while they were trying to rescue their mother.

The girl died on the spot, whereas the boy is still struggling to live. Their mother, too, is under critical care with meager hopes of survival.

“Drones strike with a lot of precision,” he explained, “they mostly kill the terrorists, and we are happy with that. It’s our army that fires indiscriminately. What was the crime of these children and their mother? Who are they defending? What are they doing?’ he asked before cursing the people responsible.

Plus there was no need of such operations if tribals had reported and pointed out terrorists and terrorist hide outs..
But their medeival tribal mentality bars them from doing so...

No independent verifications except sources close to a banned outfit. !!

However, his claim could not be verified through independent sources.

The sources close to banned outfit Lashkar-i-Islam in Bara also confirmed migration of scores of tribal families from Tirah to Afghanistan.

The Pakistan Air Force fighter planes have been conducting regular air strikes to target hideouts and bases of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan and Lashkari-i-Islam in Tirah since the last week of January when Taliban launched an offensive against Ansaarul Islam, a pro-government armed group holding control of the strategic Bagh-Maidan valley in Tirah.

Actually drones are relatively more precise than PAF jet bombardment. A drone hits its target in the car or in the house but pakistani jet bombardments and shellings some times destroy entire village. Most of the population of waziristan has not migrated because of talibans but due to pak army.
